Hello there folks! today we take a look at 2 of the best ways to make cash in my time at Portia, one you can use from the beginning, and one that is more suited for mid or late game, i hope you enjoy this video of mine :)

As someone who likes fishing, I like fishing the Goliath sometimes for a whole day or when evening hits. It’s probably not the most efficient money making advice, but I just store them until they stack up and sell them on a high market price day.

I think resources are what you need to do missions. If you really wanna make money, go fishing and try to go for 300 gold fishes or 5k fishes

Fishing! Occasionally there is a fish worth 5,000 gold. I will say more: in the first dangerous ruins is the top fishing spot! Sage fish is expensive and easy to catch; blade fish can be prepared a dish for strong energy recovery, catfish can cook fish soup. Your method can be used as an auxiliary for a variety of games. However, at the start, a lot of marble is needed for different crafting according to the plot.

btw there are more stones at island with haunted cave... and u can craft something with other mats from mining stones.. like grinding stones from stone and necklaces from topaz... not much more profit but +exp for faster lvling...

fishing is still better once you unlock the dessert . but the mining method is good for leveling up

There is also the Ginger way early befriend her. The Mysterious gift is topaz necklace + it's recipe. Sell topaz necklaces especially good if you wanna marry Phyllis or Ginger. Phyllis well cause your using talisman as gift to her.

Do you make more doing this than fishing or breeding fish? I've found I need all my mats for MORE furnaces and quests. lol. BUT fish are bank.

i'm not sure, i think if you have the drill and plenty of stamina food and mine all day, it's more gold. I would have to do some testing on that tho.

@@guidinggamer148 I was going to do a similar video, but since I have a somewhat one track mind (King Fish are worth 5k & each Wise Fish is worth $320 ) I figured I'd see if I was doing it wrong/or what other options there are out there, and then test it myself. I don't actually see many ppl fish for $$, so I was wondering if there was a reason. It seems there are a lot of ways to go about it! :D

fishing maybe will get your more money but for me, im not enjoying the game just to fish every day 😂 and that's kinda borring to me. For me to get money in mid game i prefer to assembly something that easy to find and create like water wells or industrial furnace that sells around 900 i guess, i can make like 5 - 10 wells or furnace everyday. And i have alot industrial furnace, comprehensive cutter, working 24 hours everyday 😂

Early game fishing at Portia Harbor is the best way to make Gols per day. By mid-game, fishing at Bassanio Falls using the Master Fishing Rod, having the Fish Encyclopedia skill and focusing on Goliath fish is going to solve your Gol issues all the way to end game. But if you don't like fishing, there's a much better early game crafting solution to making money. Just mine in the Abandoned Ruins, convert up to 999 Stone to 999 Wood at A&G, then combine that Wood with Plant Fiber (which is very easy to obtain). Make Wooden Baskets which you can then sell to A&G when the market price is high. Convert any remaining Stone into Grinding Stones to sell at Best Brother. If you do have some spare Mable (and I find it's in high demand in the early - mid game), then turn it into Stone Tables rather than Talismans. You can sell those at A&G as well, and they'll give you significantly more money per item. Just be aware that crafting will make Gols at a much, much slower rate per Portian day than fishing will. Another video I saw exploited the Tree Farm and Dana's Mining Company. Upgrade those locations to the max, craft what you can (Wooden Baskets were recommended) and sell the rest. If you want to take it an extra step, use your furnaces to make Manganese Steel Bars. Making some Hard Aluminum and Bronze Bars would be worthwhile as well. The character just sleeps until that's all smelted up and there's a good market price, then goes to sell it all. That's a very effective tactic if you want to focus on making as many Gols as possible in real time.

Actually... it's *Aluminium* in British English. *Aluminum* is technically correct and is the way it is in American English. I get the possible confusion you got, as Europeans... and pretty much everywhere else in the world it's actually mostly British English that's been taught at schools. I suggest you switch the game to British English (The one using the British flag) rather than American English (the one using the American flag) as that would feel more natural and easier for us. :) I don't remember the settings menu for this game, but I think the language setting included the flags... and that it even had an option to change the language manually. It'd be a shame actually if it's somehow tied to Steam's language and it decided that you need to have the American localization/translation/language only. :D

I liked this guide, but feels it lacking in details. The claim is good or the start to mid game. But the perks seem to make it later. Need 5 in gathering, then 3 more for max drops, 5 in social to get to the second row. At least 16 levels?

Don’t sell you gems or ore! The talisman tip is great, but the rest…. Not so much. Data disks are HUGE in late game. Do NOT sell them! Terrible advice!

Horrible tutorial. You don't say the names of what your talking about, just saying "these things" isn't helpful. If you're making a beginners tutorial, you can't say "you already have wood". What? Add a small sentence explaining how to get wood. Be helpful, it's a tutorial. Work on your explanation skills and you'll make a lot better videos. I'll try out the talisman trick today and see if I can finally afford to buy some upgrades. Thanks for the tip.
