Another couple of tips for increase sales: 1. upgrade your social skills as the second level includes increasing the sales % on selling your goods; 2. collect those animal faeces for the hidden seeds within. I have not had to buy any seeds for my planters from Granny's, yet have sold the produce; and 3. Finish the tree farm missions asap. Then you can then use all your stamina on rocks, with an abundance of wood given to you each day free of charge. Also, if you don't collect from the tree farm one day, it carries over to the next. But it does reset around the weekend, I think. Thank you for another wonderful video, DF.

its been 3 years but if you dont have the answer already it is because he does not really researches before doing this videos. the method he has shown to make money is note really that great. he has a good pickaxe and wastes most of his time getting rocks and can only get 5k gold in 2 days. people fishing and breeding fish can get 10~50k gol PER DAY. of course if you are getting resources at the beginning its quite normal that you would try to do what he showed but that shows he did not really tried to play the game and see what it has to offer. so he can make more videos cause he plays without really carrying. he wastes more time editing than playing.

Nah I recommend catching Golieth fish near the waterfall, they are a little hard to catch but they spawn very often, also has the highest rate for King golieth and king salmon worth 5k each. Cought a few in 1 session while other places dont ever spawn. I got bank ready to be sold as soon as the market peaks lol Can make upward to 10K in a span of 1 afternoon game time.

Personally my favourite way to make money in My time at Portia is to go to the effula desert and go to the fishing spot at the back at the map where the oasis is and just use the day to fish, on my last trip there i made 18,320 gols in one day. I have tried the other fishing spots but in my opinion i find this the best to fish at for making lots of money.

One item that sells for a lot are the umbrellas. They sell for, what, 500 or something each and cost a few ingredients, the most difficult one being the spines. If you mass produced those (after obtaining lots of spines) it could be worth a lot of gols.

A great way to male fast cash in the beginning is go into the ruins, farm just stone, when you get a 999 stack or two make them ALL into stone stools and sell to the construction co. All you need is stone to make them.

If you're playing this on 2022, the fastest way to gain gols I've discovered is through fishing. Go to the collapsed wasteland fishing spot and fish until you get a blade king fish which sells for around 5k gols. this setup only needs a beginner's rod, you just need to be patient with the fishing. I got lucky and got 3 of them on a single day which net me a profit of 15k gols.

My Strategy is : 1st Go into the Ruins ASAP to get Ore and DATA DISKS ( data Discs Sell very good Themself if you have enough ) you can Research stuff early and get good stuff for the House running the Ruins 2nd you can buy 8 Tree Planter Boxes With Discs at the Temple for Resale 3rd you can Buy stuff to resell from the Research Center ( Advanced Engines etc. ) so Collecting Data Discs is also a very Good Resource of Cash and Upgrading your House Items right from the Beginning also Get 10 Apple Trees Minimum ASAP to get Aroma Apples and Dry them to Get Dried Slices ( There are also a LOT of NPCs who Love Aroma Apples like Jack ,Toby,Abu , Scraps, QQ etc... ) They also sell very Well ... so get some Apple Trees and Drying Racks

I just started playing and I’m about 25 in game days in. the fastest and my go to way I found how to make money is to buy a bunch of fish bait, go to the watering hole by the water fall, and fish for Goliath fish. They each sell for 350g. I’ve gotten pretty good at it and caught 6 in no time and sold them all on a day where it sold for a little more than 350 and I got around 2,200g for them all.

I realized that fishing is by far the most profitable thing to do, you can even buy worms as their so cheap, yet easy to get from killing snails or getting seed from grass. You can also quickly sell them at Emily’s place

As a new players just go fishing at the waterfall all day _(faster with the fishing perk)_ , you can make between 5000 and 20 000/day easy, depends on your luck. 1 king fish = 5k gold.

@@alterschwede2376 If you have at least the Classic Rod and the Fish Encyclopedia skill, the best spot to fish is the waterfall (Bassanio Falls). Just focus on catching Goliath and King type fish, and ignore any regular or Emperor golden salmon you encounter. This results in you catching a few less fish per day, but the ones you do catch are worth a LOT more and the frequency of Goliaths showing up makes this the most lucrative fishing spot in the game by far. However, if you're just a new player and you aren't really good at the fishing minigame, go to Portia Harbor instead (the one with Bubblefish). The fish there are easy to catch even with the beginner rod, and if you're finding that Goliaths are getting away from you regularly you will make more Gols per day here. If you have the Classic or Master Rod and don't have the Fish Encyclopedia skill, Eufaula Desert Oasis and Eufaula Heights are a bit better than Bassanio Falls. But if you don't have those locations unlocked, Bassanio Falls is still the third best location for random fishing, so just go there instead.

LOL dude i make around 25k or more in 2 days just by spamming fishing goliaths, i stay the entire day fishing them sometimes i get emperor goliath wish is 700. and the salmon king and the goliath king is around 5,000 gols, what you dotta do is sell them when the market price goes up, and done there you are rich, i dont even do comissions and i have 100k , your welcome!!!

Not sure if people even care anymore but if you go to the church everyday they sell you the large plots for 16 disc's for 8 plots. And if you sell them normally they sell for about 250g each. So all you have to is go yo church everyday buy some sell when prices are high and bam easy money made about 60k with no effort at all just played the game with no grind.

Make a stone stool and put it in your yard to regen stamina a bit. It’s better to go until the game makes you pass out. Can regen a decent amount in a just a few minutes.

You could get around 20k on the waterfall fishing spot alone per day. Just buy around 80 worms and sell when market is above 110%. On average you get around 2 Golden Salmon Kings each run which alone are worth 5k each on 100% market price

Fishing is like 5 times faster when talking about making money fast. 20-30k gols a day with a little bit of luck. EDIT: After "finishing" the game i can easly up this number to a 50-70k gols a day with best fishing rod. At the end of the game i was sitting with chests full of fishes for 5k gols each, because there was simply not enough money in shops.

This is good early game, but when you get a fishing rod fish all day long. Its the most profitable thing in the game. The hard part is bait, but if you save them up from day 1 you can eventually get 10-30k a day in profit even in the worst fishing spot. Takes about 100-130 fish not including the king.

Dude. Marble is worth 5 gols, along with the wood that's 12, so you only make 4 gols of profit from the crafting. In fact, the marble is worth 7 gols apiece after turning it into slabs (cost of fuel included), so you make literally no profit. Selling Talisman is really not a good way to make money.

Imo, a better idea is to simply go fishing. 1. Find some baits at herbs 2. Go fishing - check what spot is easiest/best for you. 3. Sell all fish for Sophie (for any price), and buy from her as many baits, as you can. 4. Go fish every day until you get a good price at market. 5. Sell all fish and buy some baits (300-400pcs imo is the sweet spot). I took me 2 days to get 5k Gols, and I still got many hours left to craft something useful.

Okay, for anyone who is here from getting the switch version.... there is this glitch that when you are able to go to the hazardous ruins, make sure your slots are full. items will just follow you and try to jump into your pocket and it gives you money. I left my switch on for about 40 minutes in one of the ruins, and I walked away with a little over 60,000 gols until I got bored and wanted to continue playing. And best part is in game you are only wasting 3hours in the ruins. Also when you are done in the ruins, go mine things in the abandoned ruins. And don't stop once you get a good streak. I usually get +111 gols for the first hit, and then it just adds by 111 gols each time. I usually leave those ruins with 10,000 gols.

sand is super easy to find. make glass and sells. it takes time but you'll get rich too. going to ruins while searching for relic will give you sand all the time. i would never sell bronze bar. it is precious coz a lot of stuff need it. item crafted using sand and stone which is easy to get in my opinion should be the one need to be sell. blood stone is precious too. I realized this after i got to level 25 above. dammit. too many sand and stone in my storage

5000 Gols Per day ? well you can make more go to the Mine and get Data Disks , Buy Motors from Research Center and Planters from Temple every DAY alone will give you more Plant Apple Trees because Aroma Apples are also high value and if you dry them give you 10% More Stamina per Slice I did not Like Fishing without the master Rod so i just farmed DATA DISKS and with Apple Slices you can get also 20.000 ore per Day

Halimey If you get a fishing rod, go to the spot where it has the bubblefish and salmon. Spend a day or half a day fishing until you pass out and you’ll get a few thousand gols if you sell it when the market is 100% or more.

2 Marble + 2 Wood = 16Gols per Talisman _hmm_ How about 2 Marble Planks + 2 Bronze Pipes = 2 Basic Skivers for 680Gols Commission or 4 Wooden Planks + 5 Bricks = 2 Water Tanks for 700Gols Commission And they're just the early/low lvl (on my 2nd "speed" playthough) Commissions. Start to get Water Tanks for 3600Gols in the late teens. 4-5 Street Lights in a day, 5 Dee Dees in a day. Yeah nah, the *real* money is in Commissions. But it requires a certain play style. An idle machine costs you money, and, you snooze, you lose. And there's items that you get from gaining ranks that you can't get otherwise. Oh, if you ever wondering where those expensive Carbon Steel Bars that you put on the day before got to, go see the wife ^^
