Erkenci Kus (English title: Early Bird) is a Turkish-made romantic comedy series by Gold Film.
Sanem (Demet Özdemir) is a girl who works in her father's grocery store and is loved by everyone. But her family tells her that she will marry if she can't find a job. Sanem starts working in an advertising agency to avoid getting married. But she doesn't know what awaits her in her new job. The manager of his company is the handsome, intelligent and cultured Can (Can Yaman). Since Sanem always manages to get into trouble, this situation attracts Can's attention and a great love story begins.

One of my favorite episodes ever. The way Can hugged Sanem's parents and then silently asked for their permission before proposing to Sanem. The way Sanem looked at her father for approval before saying yes. Ahhh my heart. Emre confessing to Leyla that he was just trying to make her jealous and her admitting that she has parted ways with Osman. Ahh love winning all round ❤

Huma does not care about anyone in that room but herself, she is a narcissist. She is using Pauline to try and separate Can from the one person that makes him happy, Sanem. She seems to want or need Can's acceptance so that she can "mother" him, but trying to destroy his relationship with Sanem is not the way to do it. 23:36-23:43 When she tried to put down the gift that Sanem's family gave Can (moon stones) Can told her that she did not know about it and it would not occur to her but, "only to someone that knows him very well and loves and cares about him enough to know". That child that she left behind is now a grown man who has fallen in love. Every time she does something to try to embarrass Sanem it backfires. She has too high of an opinion of herself, she has a long fall coming.

Yes she’s beautiful but her personality shines through and spoils everything as she’s become so jaded and nasty just like Huma and her brother Yigit! Spoilt child syndrome!! This is what happens ! This is also why Rmre was evil and self centred in the beginning as he’s grown up with Huma and her values and opinions of entitlement! Emre has learned from Can so much since he came back to run the business and he’s now seeing what a nasty woman his mother is! Pauline embarrassed and defeated. I think what draws us to Can and Sanem is that their relationship is portrayed in such a realistic way. They did not meet, instantly fall in love, get married and live happily ever after. They had problems, problems, and more problems leading up to their happily ever after. These problems revealed their strengths and weaknesses as well the other persons'.

After knowing Sanem for only a few months, he was already proposing to her twice. He did mention in an earlier episode ( in his friend's printing office ) that a woman should be beautiful without flaunting her beauty. Sanem is natural looking most of the time except when the ocassion calls for more formal looks e.g. like a campaign launch

Thinking about the real life story going on in the background, It must have been very strange for Can and Demet to do some of these scenes. Their on-screen relationship was so much more advanced than their off-screen relationship.... it must be weird to be dating someone but have to act as if you're proposing and getting engaged when you weren't IRL. I appreciate, they're actors, but this seems different because all anyone can ever talk about is their real-life chemistry. I just find it interesting to think about what it would be like for them to go through this together while dating.

So beautifully and romantically done even their dialogues or I may say their expression of love and feelings so relatable. So in love with Can and Demet in portraying their role as well as the cast. The series has family values, friendships, work, and relationships.

Yighit is very rude.His sarcasm becomes him. On episode 10 or 11 Sanem brought pizza for just Can & herself.Yighit took it upon himself to help eat their lunch. Not one bad word was said.I definitely would of expressed to Yighit, to step off his high horse ,not to pig out to eat your lunch & bugger off. Can has every right to be 😡 angry.
