I’m so glad I found this Turkish series which was just by chance. Can and Demet truly portrayed their characters so well. The way Can looked at Demet you could really believe he was in love with her for real. I’ve never seen an actor that showed love in his eyes the way he did. Well done to all the cast too.

This was the most adorable Turkish series I’ve ever seen. Everyone was so amazing. Love the ending, would’ve love to see Emre and Layla’s kids too. Really appreciate the subtitles. What a massive difference in Darren’s reaction from when Ceyda came looking for can when they were partying in the office, Derren went with Ceyda and slagged off sane but now she’s like yeah they are back together and we will talk business next week! 😂😂😂👍👍👍 Ayseh s face when Derren told her about them being back together was priceless! Derren was sold short by the writers as she deserved her happy ending with Bulut who they just said he left this morning when things the night before had been good with Can coming home from hospital! He was carrying Derren around and dancing all the time, they should at least have shown them at the wedding together! And why weren’t Aziz and Huma back for cans wedding!?

Me too 1st time was all in Turkish and then English subtitles.. I personally don't like dubbing, so Thank you for doing a tremendous job. At times I felt my heart break for them the drama was that good but oh boy the laughter was phenomenal. The acting is absolutely the vest I have ever ever seen.. The music fabulous and the Director, script writers wow.. The Chemistry with all the Actors but Demet and Can nothing like it.. This series got me threw one of my worst times in my life but it gave me guts to get out of my box and enjoy life and fitness again, Thanks to watching Demet and her fitness and Dancing and Can for his fitness. This series motivated me so much at a young 57yrs. Even my sons and their wives love it and back to fitness.. So motivating to remember to love and have fun when times get hard work through it and be honest.

I admire Early Bird (Day Dreamer) and realize why it is so successful. It is not just a love story with its ups and downs. Still, because of one's passion and love of life and nature (with perfume made from wildflowers), Early Bird delivers confidence, creativity, and teamwork and emphasizes the importance of women in the workforce and as entrepreneurs, all while telling a compelling love story. It has a deeper meaning for me. The three campaign scenes that exemplify women are the Labour/Workforce Campaign, the Sports Campaign, and the Cosmetics Campaign, where Sanem's (Demet) confidence invites, welcomes, and reminds women how important they are and to never give up on their dreams. Focusing on women in the various campaigns changes a typical comedy and romantic love story into significance. Sanem's passion for writing also revealed her confidence and philosophical awareness, yet she believed in fairytales. Lastly, I applaud the respect for women these Turkish series display with sensual scenes. The intrigue is with imagination. Proper clothing, hairstyle and makeup makes a woman beautiful; not scantilly clad women. Turkish women are beautiful. Their makeup is perfect, not too much or too little. The clothing reveals their glamorous shapes without revealing too much. The love scenes push us to use our imagination. Kudos to the Turkish series I have seen so far.

This is the ending that all of us wanted, but I wish the last part of the series wasn't so rushed. From when Can lost his memory to this part was so rushed that it was hard to believe that Sanem won't be compassionate and gracious to Can's brain injury and expect him to snap back to his original self in two episodes. Then another two episodes where Can chases Sanem, and Sanem refuses to entertain anything with him and rehashes old stuff. And then in one episode we have reconciliation, memory return, engagement, marriage, trip around the world, and kids. For all the misery the writers put Can and Sanem through, they could have given us more than one episode to show us a world of Canem that was now full of everything they wanted instead of a few minutes.

The agonizing moments watching the rollercoasters of Sanem’s and Can’s relationship outweighed the rushed and short and unexpectedly very lifeless simple wedding of them was a disappointing, not fulfilling! In fairness to the casts . there is a book, both kindle and hardback...called THIS IS ONLY THE BEGIN. STORY OF A NEVER UNTOLD ENDING and it's the story of what happens after Can and Sanem marry, what happens to all of the characters. i am reading it and so far, it's delightful.

I’m so glad that this was the first every Turkish drama I’ve decided to watch. It was well worth the 161 episodes 😅 I not only fell in I’ve with the main characters but the minor characters too. This show was filled with so much laughter, fun and sadness. Love Can and Sanem. Can Yaman had a very special way of evoking various emotions through his eyes and I love him and his character. His portrayal as Can is superb. Now off to watch his other dramas. I’ll definitely recommend this to my friends. Thank you for uploading this with decent subtitles 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I absolutely agree with how Can Yaman shows so many emotions through his eyes, a lovely lovely man from the top of his head ( gorgeous hair ) all the way down to his feet ( looked so good in the boots he wore ). I do prefer Ekenci Kus to the other previous series he’s been in but what I wish that KZbin would show with English subtitles is his Italian series Viola Come Il Mare. Totally different character for him playing a policeman but having seen the snippets on KZbin his voice is amazing in Italian. Please everybody keep asking for this series to be on KZbin.

I have seen 3 different series with Can Yaman...but nothing reaches the chemistry that Can and Demeti shared in the Early Bird series. Mr.Wrong with Can Yaman is a good one to watch. I must admit though, having a year or more in-between seeing again, I did forget a few bits and bobs and so that was kinda exciting to see again. I wish they would make another series of how they are now. Perhaps about their travels around the world 1st before the triplets arrived.

@@mars.a2839no the production was finished in late 2018 and the show was air in 2019. The reason the show ended in rush was because the rating went down the hill on second season. Lot of loyal viewers were disappointed. First, with changed setting location, second, story lines in season 2 wasn’t great as in season 1.

I thought "Knock on my Door" was great........ Early Bird is one of the best series. I've laughed, scream, cried even felt the love in this series. Can Yaman and Demet Ozdemir has reached the hearts of people as far as Trinidad in the West Indies. I will be rewatching these series in years to come. In episode 64 Can compared himself to a ship lost at sea, however, he said that the first time he kissed Sanem that changed. In episode 138 he said that he never felt like he belonged anywhere all he knew was to run away from his problems. He and Sanem are finally happily married, and they have their dream family after all the things that tested their love. Sanem is Can's lighthouse, safe port and anchor. Sanem the "Daydreamer" is anchored to reality by Can. They truly are two halves of a whole.

did you notice...when he dreamed of the bed and the three children, the location was in a field of yellow flowers....it's the same place where sanem and yighit picked flowers, where the hut was near.....in the fan fiction book found on amazon kindle, the detail describing the field is lovely. there are two books......and they wrap up what the series didn't.

I literally cried watching this last episode...😭🥺 This is my third Turkish series that I'm watching and I think Erkenci Kus is gonna remain my favourite one.. 😍❤️ Both Can and Demet portrayed their roles so well... 💯💯 Be it Sanem portraying her madness, funny side or even her mature and understanding side and also her acting after the one year old gap... Goshhh... how can somebody act so perfect!?! Wooww.. a brilliant performance by Demet..💯🥰 Also Can acting.. the way he says Boraa Boraa... He being the Albatrosse.. they are just perfect.. Their Chemistry.. the way they fight with each other.. the way they understand each other, stands by each others side.. I can just go on with the list..... Not to miss the other casts.. be it Mevkibe with her silent treatment.. JJ and Muzu's friendship, Deren's way of handling things, Emre and not to forget Leila.. Shes just gorgeous.. 😍 I can just go on and on with the praises that I've got for this Turkish series.. I found this series by accident. I saw a FB reel with Can Yaman. I had no idea who he was, but that particular reel exuded a powerful energy about him. That attracted my attention. Long story short I wrote a Pirate novel and many people have asked me if my novel was turned into a movie what young actor would I want to play the lead character. I had no answer because until I saw that reel, I couldn't think of any actor that had the kind of energy I would want to play my character, until 3 weeks ago. I put this series on with the intention of watching one episode and it pulled me into the proverbial rabbit hole and down I went for 161 episodes. There were times I laughed and laughed, times I wanted to shake the two of them, times when I became angry with some of the characters, and times I cried. The entire cast was amazing and I really cared about them. The chemistry of Can and Demet was beyond amazing and you could feel the energy between them. They should truly work together again at some point. Now that I binge watched it, I will need to watch it again because this was truly one of the best things I have ever watched.

It took me 4 months to watch this series. I just finished the last episode and here's my take. Perfect casting. Absolute marvels when it came to expressing their emotions with their words, bodies and tones! I never had info on Turkey or even the slightest clue of what it looked like but boy oh boy must I visit the place. I must have tea in their glass cups and eat their fruits and the seeds Mevkibe never ran out of! The character arcs were incredible and don't get me started on the plot twists! The writers have one crazy imagination and it was very well brought out. Comedic value? 20/10.The timeline could have been altered a bit but eh! still good.I easily give this a 10. I was hooked from the moment I started watching it and I don't want to watch another. I casually throw around some statements I heard from Sanem and Can - how captivating this show has been. LOVED IT!

I'm really annoyed that they didn't give Emre and Leyla full closure. They made a big scene with Emre doing the "baby proposal" and them trying to find themselves own home. But then forget it all and not show us them actually moving out off Leyla's parents house and starting a family.

However I agree that there are some lose ends that needed to be tied, like: what was with those bottles that Sanem through into the ocean?, what happened to Ayhan?, will Emre and Layla start a family too?, will Sanem and Can go to the place where the two rivers meet?

@@vanessas2454 Heh, I actually didn't care to know what was with those bottles. It got me so mad how she was just trashing the ocean with plastic waste. I wish they hadn't done that. But yeah, the whole other half of the show after the one year timejump was just weird. I mean who the hell is Denise? If anyone should have been there to be a "mental coach" or whatever to Sanem, it was Ayhan. But no, they had to bring this Denise character, she was a total waste of a character. Also didn't like Mehriban at all, I found myself having more understanding for Huma in the end than this Mehriban, who was just holding on to old grudges and blaming Huma for everything, like the cottaga fire. And SHE was there at the wedding for Can, and not Huma and Mr. Aziz. Ridiculous. Also Ayhan not at the wedding.... And I think that they deleted some storylines with Leyla and Emre in favour of Sanem and Can in the end. I read that, while this series was on air, a lot of Canem fans were angry that Leyla and Emre were the happy married couple and demanded that they be shown less, which is just ridiculous since Sanem and Can dominated practicly the whole show. Which of course is understandable since they were the main characters but seriously they can't start a story with Leyla and Emre and just forget about like they did. No update ever on the baby and them having their own home. So I think the fan outrage had something to do with it, the writers gave in to the demands and pushed Leyla and Emre to the side. A that's sad cause I was more invested in LeyEm than Canem. Sanem and Can just had the same storyline done for five times: They meet, the fall in love, they break up. Then they got back together only to break up again. Then they get back together again only to break up again with Can leaving for a year. He then comes back and they do the same dance again...will they or won't they. Then they tease us again...oh they are gonna kiss, no they're not, yes they are, nope not yet. Then they get back together again and BOOOOM, a car accident. Can loses his memory and then they dance again... will they or won't they. Finally together. The end. After a few times, it just get's a bit boring... LOL. Oh God, this was a long reply. Hope you managed to read it through. LOL

This series changed my life. I’ve had Turkish friends my whole life but this show made me fall in love with everything Turkish. I’m even learning it atm! The characters were just beautiful and Can And Demet had the most amazing chemistry. Not sure if the rumours were true that they were in a relationship at the time, if not then it’s the best acting I’ve ever seen! I’ve laughed cried and felt the heartache from many scenes. My favorite part of the show was after she broke up with Can a year later where Sanem was living on the farm. She was just so beautiful, broken and fragile. unneccessary scenes in the last 5 episodes,it would have been better if they focused on Jan regaining his memory using the things that connects him to Sanem for example the scarf,the bday gift of sanem,the engagement ring,the perfume,the first kiss etc.etc. They focused on the ads of the agency which is really unneccessary. I would love also if they make a whole wedding scene,with all the cast attending like Ayhan,Osman,Guliz, Aziz,Huma etc. And glimpses of their world tour. Oh well🤷🏼‍♀️ Over all I love this series❤👌

Why did we not see Leyla and Emres kids etc . Yes we spent so much time on Yigit and Polens book and Cans memory loss was spread out too much I feel yet they met, got back together , got engaged and married all in one episode!
