That's nothing they are $35,999 for the 2 seater in Australia... the 4 seater will be close to $40,000 when they are released here next year... you guys don't know how good you have it our government destroys us with taxes etc... and it's not just sxs and other toys look at the 2018 Silverado 2500hd for example they Start at $140,000 in australia for a Base model but in America they start at $34,400

I like the charm that this wheeler has. Some people want a durable, affordable, off road truck that is simple to fix. Polaris nailed 3 of the four.

30K? 2 cylinders, a turbo and a belt driven CVT... hum, put's it in the range of a lot of other options as far as off road cars go that are far more durable. All of the tech that is on this vehicle just means more to go wrong. To me it looks like they are targeting the casual off roader that wants all of the creature comforts of their street car. The only thing that keeps this type of rig selling is dealer financing otherwise very few people would buy this.

Id rather have the Wrangler JL🤦I wonder what's driving these prices. Is it really just as difficult to build one of these as a full blown car? The shear size of the presses used to stamp car panels is insane. Car engines and transmissions are way more complex. There's a/c and a fully sealed body. Not to mention interior quality and crash rating requirement costs. I don't get it.

A JL wouldn't be able to do the same things off road as one of these RZR's without another $20,000-$30,000 put into it on top of MSRP for a Rubicon, and it would be much slower due to the power/weight ratio.

@@TheDevonParker A lot of people make that argument. Sure, a razor can haul ass through rough terrain and small trails. But a JL can go safely down a highway on a daily basis. Go off road really well. Has a/c. Can drive passengers comfortably in all weather. Has a stereo and speakers. Comfortable seats. A better engine and transmission. More torque. Comes with a spare tire. Removable top. I can go on and on. So why exactly do they cost the same again? 🙄

@@tmac20031 Engine power? That thing is waay faster than a JL because it is much lighter. It has very comfortable seats as well, in my opinion even better than a JL. It also has more interior leg room too. And like half the population of the USA has a truck to take this places..or even a SUV because they weight up to like 2000 lbs as a 4 seater. Then lets talk about the internal bypass shocks that are waaaaaaaay better than a JL Rubicon's shocks. Then lets talk about the beefed up trailing arms, A-arms, radius rods, front diff, cage, bushings, etc. Then lets talk about that it has 32 inch tires from the factory. Then lets talk pricing for a Rubicon, they are more expensive than a XP 4 Turbo S to START. Then lets talk about the limitless things to add to a turbo s that makes it even better such as shock upgrades, cage upgrades, etc. Oh and as for being road legal, a LOT of Colorado towns are coming to allowing UTVs on their streets and in the next few years they will all be road leagal off the highways. Utah and other states already do this. The only upside for me is that you can drive a JL as a daily driver. But as I said before, you will already have a towing vehicle. :)

@@waynehicks317 That's an awfully extensive reply. I don't have the energy lol. I have an x3 that I paid 17 thousand for. I understand they have their merits. But my point is that one vehicle has way more value than the other and they should not cost the same. If you are rich all power to you with your 30 grand for this. But the value just isn't there in my opinion. The regular 4 seat XP turbo is 23 grand. That is more reasonable.

Depends on the state. In Minnesota you can take them on pretty much anything you want besides highways and freeways. I added a blinker kit to mine and as long as you have insurance which is super cheap for these you can drive it on the road... The tires may not like it though

Everything costs more every year. However our paychecks stay the same or go up very little. Problem is "us" Americans are dumb enough to pay these prices for SxS's and trucks just so we can brag to our friends about "look what we have". Its sad, IMHO. We go thousands in debt for these toys and then sell them not even a year later because 1. You cant afford it anymore. 2. You dont use it enough. 3. You get bored with it.
