On the Native Coho! The intensive bag limit that was imposed for wild Coho has helped the native fish go from highly endangered pre-1998 due to over fishing off coast, then mis-management of hatchery with hatchery driving out the natives, to now only needing another 20% increase to be taken off the endangered list completely! ODF is doing good work. :)

It is mid-winter in Anchorage, AK. We are forty something inches of snow deep. (In just the last two weeks) Ice on the lakes is STILL not thick enough to get out and drop a line. How are you guys keeping those soft beads in place? I ordered a bunch last year but can't keep them from sliding down. I've used the umbrella stoppers they come with and they don't stay put. I've ran the line through twice and they just get cut in half if you get bit or snagged. Also used egg bobber stops and slide the bead over it or bead then stop. They just aren't staying put. Especially with my switch rod.

They don't stay put but the easiest way to put them back where you want them is with Beau Macs rubber bobber stoppers. You just have tonslide the beads back over. Virtually impossible with the umbrella type stoppers.

I’m all for a good merch drop but $10 for a salmon spinner?? I understand you guys are running a business but come on. I’ve seen plenty of other businesses selling 3/8-1/2 Oz torpedo spinners with pretty much exact color combos for under half that price. Again not hating and I understand you need to run a business but it’s a hard pill to swallow when it feels like you’re just charging more for the name.

There are plenty of other companies online that charge way less. I can order 8 of 3/8s torpedo spinners shipped to my door for the price of their 3 pack bundle they have listed and that’s not even including their shipping prices. I’ve supported them in the past but these prices are grossly inflated. I understand R&D takes money along with everything that goes into making these videos for us to enjoy but damn.
