Easiest money is oil pumping. It's a bit cheesy in the beginning, but funded a lot of cities. Easiest one to try is on the default (first) map, just to the "right" of the starting point. There's enough of an oilfield for 10-14 pumpjacks and an accessible area for pump harbour and a small dock and - later on - a refinery. All in all the initial investment is just over 1M ₱ but it easily brings back in excess of 200k each year - depending on the oil price. And the best bit is - it runs automatically, no people needed.

this one also needs no people. Also, finding oil needs research (not sure if the pump also needs it, but I remember people trying to find oil by just hovering the pump all over the terrain and hoping for the best). Either way, both are not very realistic, I would not use in my republic :P

@@BBDevGames Nope, oil pumps don´t need research to see oil fields

nice, so what I saw works: you just need to get one oil pump and hover it through the map to find oil

This is super interesting. One sewage truck purchase seems to be amortised already after one month(?) This strategy will delay other projects though slightly. Can you not just dig holes for free early? So you can make the water come to you. Also i am not sure if the enviromental burden translates into a global health penalty, probably not. I experimented with agriculture rushed atempt, which also needs no workers. It worked out pretty well i had 8 large farms in the end, but it was not better as any common strategy. The worst strategy sadly seems to be rushing building industry first, since materials are so cheap early. Now i am doing a tourism rushed atempt, and it works really good. Staring 1960, i have 80k from tourism + 40k from oil export per month in 1970. Maybe i will try agriculture again, i have learned that with distribution offices working the field harvest (covered hull trucks). Allows the farms to work way more fields, by hosting only tractors and harvesters.

BUT, it takes 2 in-game years just to get your money back that you spent on infrastructure on the special equipment for this alone before you even start making money no matter how many of these you build, and then it's really slow - 4,000 a month is nothing. In ONE year you could have built a whole small settlement with a clothing factory already in profit, making money for you, which would have you a lot more money by 2 years. You actually lose money this way instead of starting smart. Then you still have to build all that starting city stuff anyway. Unless you want to sit on the game just watching for decades of game years on end, in which case why not just start with more money. This is pretty useless... 🤣🤣🤣

Idk if one can import hazardous waste, but that would propably be faster to make a few bucks with
@BBDevGames4 ай бұрын
yes, tried that, the issue is that the storage is not infinite like lakes and rivers. But it is definitely faster... :) In any case, I would not use these cheap solutions in a map I really care about, it would not feel right

@@BBDevGames i had an issue where my other free money solution had some fun issues. Oil. A full oiltank burned down, leaving behund a thousand tons of toxic waste. Exporting it through my destruction offices was costing me 400k soviet-dollars so i decided to store the rest on dumps. Now i got a waste cleaner facility that's converting it to mixed waste. Over -1000 rubels for one truck vs about -10 bucks for a mixed waste truck. The difference is great, might even be worth it to import later.
@BBDevGames4 ай бұрын
you can also process mixed waste and recycle some, right?

@@BBDevGames i think you can burn it, but with research you can make electricity with it too
@julkkis6664 ай бұрын
Though burning doesn't burn 100% of it. Leaves behind a certain percentage of trash, weighed based on how burnable that type of trash is
