I know it's hard to film but maybe a stationary camera that you can move when needed but otherwise fixed on the poles. That's what I came to watch! Good stuff!

First time hearing turn off depth finder to not scare them away. Can you explain please, only been chasing crappie for two summers

A depth finder makes noise underwater. Turn your depth finder on while it's put of the water and you will hear a slight ticking sound. I do this in shallow water because there is less distance between the boat and the fish than deep water. In deep water, I use a depth finder. In shallow water, I locate the average depth of the fish or brush and drop my lines according to what I see and then I turn the depth finder off. If you turn it off before you start trying to catch fish the better it is opposed to having it on then turning it off. I will give more details in the next video! Thank you for your question and I hope it helps!

How deep are your lines?
@blaketuckerfishing10303 жыл бұрын
On brush, I usually keep them about 8-10 inches above the brush and same if I was fishing on a school. Most of the brush I'm fishing right now are 8-10 feet deep.

FYI, if your boat is pointed on the front it's not a Jon boat. Just because it's aluminum that doesn't mean it's a Jon boat!

Fish finder spooks fish, now that's hilarious. I guess everyone with a live scope bought an expensive paper weight. This how you know a ghost fisherman, they only fish spots where they caught fish. FYI drop shoot with minows is the absolute easiest way to catch fish, the minnow does all the work and you don't need any jig when you sit pole in holder when not trolling or actually jigging. This is crappie 101 during spawning and everyone can catch crappie during spawning.
