Efficiencyscape makes people stay in one place and train the same skill to 99, which is cancer for new players. My early game tip. MAKE BIRDHOUSE AND TREE RUNS A DAILY ROUTINE!!!!! I have never liked training hunter or farming. I learned about the runs and outside of quest XP, they are my only XP in those two skills. I have slacked heavily, but was checking then 2-3 times a day for about 3 weeks and I am at 70 farming and 54 hunter. You can see rates much better than mine if you are more consistent, but I made sure to check them at least once a day. It take roughly 5 minutes of work to do the runs, and grants massive XP for the time of doing so. Birdhouses are also a pretty good money maker, especially if you save all nest and seeds when starting early on! EDIT: This comment was clearly left before I made it to step 10 🤷♂️🥴 I'll leave it, but highly recommend this! 👆👆

Early game tip: Do tourist trap after waterfall quest and tree gnome village then use both xp rewards on agility. Then do grand tree quest and you will get 32 agility to start on varrock rooftop, then canifis at lvl 40, falador at 50 or wilderness at 52, seers at 60 and you will have full graceful before you get to level 70. TLDR: Magic > Range > Melee at early game content Early game tip: magic is the best combat style you can use early on. You can safe spot a lot of monsters/quest bosses which gives it a leg up from melee, and it's much more accurate and hits harder than ranged at early levels. Completing the quests Witch's Potion and Imp Catcher will give you access to earth strike, and you're not far from fire strike. Tip #2: use earth strike/fire strike (and upgrades as you go along) to easily complete quests like Tree Gnome Village, the Grand Tree, Fight Arena, Tourist Trap, Vampire Slayer, and Shadow of the Storm for a very quick 40 Att/40 Str (with the completion of Waterfall Quest), 30 Ranged, and 30 Agility (you'll still get full graceful before level 70) to skip the early monotonous levels.

No bond please. 1. Click on the "Map Bubble" and explore the map as much as possible, you can also change it's size if you on a computer. 2. Use the "Mini Map" to reduse the amount of clicking when walking. 3. Find a clan maybe an ironman clan, who are willing to tell you useful tips that would be hard to search for on the Osrs wiki. 4. Use the Osrs wiki whenever your on the computer. 5. Watch on youtube "rebuild/Ironman/progress" videos, you'll learn a lot about the game and find content you want to work towards. 6. Do not go into the Wildy/pvp world/high risk world as a new player. Most likely you'll be pked a bunch and get frustated, or loose a bunch of items. 7. 100% of the time turn your public chat off at the GE. Never talk to "others" at the GE. 8. Set your 2FA and complete the stronghold of security. 9. Walk around the map and explore as much as you feel like, right click on everything. 10. Find a money making method that you can always go back to whenever your short on GP. (maybe learn to farm) 11. (Bonus) if you get stuck on a quest, watch "Slayermusiq1" on youtube for his guide on said quest. These tips are in no specific order, I hope that there weren't any repeats, I tried to read a bunch of the other comments before posting this one. Good Luck to all the new players out there. Training Ranged at lower levels becomes much cheaper after acquiring and utilizing a Dorgeshuun Crossbow and Bone Bolts. Both can be purchased for very cheap after the Lost Tribe Quest, which has both low requirements and takes very little time to complete (including the prerequisites). Combat Bracelet is best in slot for gloves for all combat types before acquiring/unlocking a Regen Bracelet, Granite Gloves or Rune Gloves and higher from the Recipe for Disaster Quest. Basically you will be equipped with a combat bracelet for a substantial amount of time after starting a new account; Extremely Beneficial.

I’m not a pro gamer of Rs yet. But my advice would be: take your time, don’t rush your gameplay, if so, your not gonna enjoy your journey. Unlock every teleport you can; build your bank with farming (invest in a bottomless bucket and supercompost), it’ll help you get some cash for upgrading your combat gear. And the best tip so far is, look for guides. As in life we don’t born with knowledge, we just learn it by lessons, time and mistakes. Guides will make your journey more efficient. Hope this works for someone. Enjoy your journey and I’ll see you in Gielinor :)

Early game tip: Don't throw away the random items you get, (unless you are an uim obviously) because many of them have various uses in the future, along with the fact that even if the items are only worth 100 gp, that stacks up really fast over time. (For example, weeds. You get some every time you use a rake up a farming patch, getting a few each time. They are each worth over 100 gp on the grand exchange. If you were to do 100 farm runs of 5 patches each, you could get anywhere from 5-15 weeds each time. (500-1.5k gold) Do it 100 times, and thats 50,000 - 150k gp)

I started playing OSRS earlier this year and my first big goal was to get a quest cape, following the optimal quest order on the OSRS Wiki. I slightly altered it to do the quests that rewarded farming XP sooner so I could make money from herb runs sooner and that basically funds everything I do. Now I've got the quest cape, I'm moving on to doing all the hard achievement diaries, again prioritising the ones that make my herb runs better/easier. Then I'll move on to the elite diaries. ☺️ There is a lot more to this and I've left out a lot of other things I did alongside the quest cape and such, but it would be an extremely long write up then, but hopefully this helps anyone. ☺️

number 1 early tip (especially helpful for ironmen/women): spend a week or two at wintertodt to get 99 fire making before you get any hp levels, get 5 thieving and steal about 500 cakes from ardy for food, collect 4 pieces of the clue hunter outfit, get 50 firemaking, a steel axe and head to wintertodt north of arceuus in kourend, open the first 200 or so reward crates for early level resources and save the final 2 - 300 for when you have around 40 in each skill for some better rewards. it should take you 5 - 600 KC to get 99 firemaking at about 10kc an hour in official worlds (50 - 60 hours playtime), it will save you a lot of time and money getting fire making levels, you can take skilling or questing breaks but ensure to stay at a lower hp level to take less damage from wintertodt.

Early game tip: Have a plan when you sit down and play. It’s not just an early game tip but something everyone should be doing.

Started playing OSRS this week, apart from a bit last year when I was a victim of the RS3 logon lock out. Decided now to focus on OSRS because RS3 has become an MTX minefield and hate it.

Early Game tip: get void set ASAP! It's gonna save your account even if you get scammed or pked or you quit and have to rebuild later. One stop shop to gear up and grind anything to make yourself some quick money.

I think my tip would be try all the skills before listening to people's advice. A great example is rune crafting, so many people absolutely dog on it and call it the worst skill in the game. But personally I find it far more enjoyable than woodcutting, agility, fletching, firemaking, and thieving.

Start slayer as soon as you have base 40s in combat. Getting an early jump will help you be familiar with many of the monsters in Runescape and keep PVM interesting.

Essential early game tip: Have fun. Explore, quest, skill, die, PvP, pvm, just try everything and see what you enjoy. No paying a subscription for the membership unless you find you enjoy some or most aspects of this game.

Early Game Tip:start barb assault and get the fighter torso as soon as possible. Just as good as the BCP in str bonus and only requires 40 or 45 defense. It will save you tons of money untill later.

early game i always played on worlds 329, 330, 331 because there is almost always a max POH open for public which is extremely helpful

Construction isn't as expensive as it sounds. You don't have to do mahogany tables. Doing teak mahogany homes contracts is 130k xp/hr and is way more fun and is only like a 10-20m to 87 construction for a maxed house.

Follow a optimal quest guide, gets you a lot of early free levels without actually doing it. ex. knights sword is 1-29 smithing

Early game tip, train all of your skills until you get the hang of each one. It makes it easier to familiarize yourself to all of the aspects of the game so you don't leave anything out late game.

Start construction and build all the useful things along the way. I got 99 before I built anything useful. Maybe this was just me being thick but that's what I would do differently.

Lava dragons for your magic/prayer level and a solid starting bank. Bonus: You will grow balls of steel and won't wuss out on wilderness content in the future.

Early game tip: kill goblins for their luscious armor and wallets filled to the rim with coins - or if your feeling wild... kill cows and tan their hides for MAXIMUM GP

Do Mourning Ends Part 1 as soon as you can. This should lvl your farming immediately past 15 and you can start doing tree runs for massive early XP farming. Farming is the easiest skill in the game, it’s just timegated. Supplies are relatively cheap (except after Willows) and this can easily boost your farming lvl to be able to do herb runs and make tons of early game GP.
@ryanbrodeur51053 жыл бұрын
There is a much easier path to get to 15 farming if that's your target. RFD: Goblin Generals and Fairytale 1 will get you there much quicker.

Early Game Tip - Pick up almost EVERYTHING, especially stackables. If you're a new main account, that's easy cash from the grand exchange and player trading. If you're an ironman or ironwoman, collecting what you can is essential. If you're trying the UIM challenge, then maybe this tip isn't for you ;) lol
