As an added note for the dramen staff, when you do Lost City, make 2 dramen staves, and only upgrade one to the lunar staff in Lunar Diplomacy. Lunar staves for some reason are deleted from your inventory when you die, and you must pay Perdu to reclaim them, whereas dramen staves can be reclaimed from your gravestone for free.

everyone remembers ash sanctifier and bonecrusher neck, but they all forget the ectoplasmator. all that free exp from spectral units like barrows brothers, phantom muspah, shades, ankous, its all going to waste because people forget it exists

@@sagebauer1077 you get the ectoplasmator from soul wars, I think it's 250 points. It honestly doesn't take too long to get, and the free exp from creatures who wouldn't normally give any exp at all is pretty nice. It's 20% of their max hp as prayer exp when you kill them

Hey now, caviar barb potions are a 24 heal over 4 doses of pots, and it's spread out which is nice for more afk stuff where you don't take a ton of damage or need to be tick perfect sipping potions. Underrated for ironmen since it's alright herb xp too if you're desperate for a level or two. Slayer rings early on are great too.

Barb potions are pretty nice, making them on the spot/ banking caviar at quidamortem is actually considered as part of the efficiency meta for irons nowadays! I've mostly made magic pots and staminas and the healing part has even been useful at certain activities like zmi. Making them is spammable with menu entry swapper which makes for some high effort but pretty fast xp. Definitely agree with them being underrated.

*Extra niche items* Rabbits foot necklace: should he worn when woodcutting, and doing bird house runs on fossil island. When worn during these activities, it ever so slightly increases chances of more bird nests. And with a game like RuneScape, where you end up doing things thousands upon thousands of times. ‘Ever so slightly’, in the long run, ends up stacking the numbers up a pretty decent amount. Farming Cape, ‘Boost’ ability: speaking of ‘ever so slightly’. Right before you harvest a crop, and receiving the bonus while wearing your farming cape; you can take it a tick further. click the ‘Boost’ ability via your Farming Cape. This will not only boost your character to level 100 farming for 1 minute (~1:30-2 mins with prayer boost extension activated) but it will also grant you the, ever so slightly more crops bonus as well. How many does it grant exactly? - that I’m not sure of. After doing an extensive research on the subject, I could not bare any results. Everybody just says the same, ‘ever so slightly shpeal. But still. If it granted 1 extra herb per farm run. Over 1k runs, that’s 1,000 x (x)thousand. Which results in millions of gold in the long run, for such a small little extra duty to perform on your runs. Last, but definitely not least, on the niche train - particular gear worn when skilling: the number of gear pieces in OSRS is vast, and there is an *absolute ton* of items that can be worn while doing certain activities. That will often give a % chance to receive/create/speed up your current activity. Examples include: Amulet of Chemistry(Herblore), Bracelet of Slaughter/Expeditious(Slayer), Amulet of Glory(Mining), Dodgy Necklace(Thieving), and a bunch more. Which I would absolutely *love it* if somebody had a compiled list somewhere for this. Or feel free to leave it under this comment. And if you can’t find it here, make sure to go do your research before going out and doing that next new skill/skilling activity! Cheers!

I think the extra level only gives extra limpwurt roots. As far as I'm aware it doesn't increase herb yield at all.

I would also like to add the Echtoplasmater into the discussion. It's basically the same thing as the bonecrusher/ash sanctifier, but for ghosts (like abberant spectres). It's free prayer xp, doesn't have to be recharged, and is pretty quick to get from Soul Wars.

I love to take these to slayer: Soul Bearer, Herb sack, seed box, gem bag, blessings. Also i found really powerful and a musthave for some content: Stamina Potions, Lightbearer, high alch runes (staffs to not use runes aswell), bones to peaches spell, Preserve + piety + rigour + augury prayers, botomless compost bucket, tome of fire, xeric's talisman, plank sack.

Your tip about the ectophial could be said about ancient magics. The kharyll teleport puts you right in the canifis bar. Much quicker alternative if you don't have fairy rings. Just put the Tele in your house, get the runes, or even a Tele tab.

@Kaoz OSRS yeah except much earlier as well. And with less resources, it's niche, same with ectophial, and purely an iron way to get to canifis super early game. (Can do dt at around 35 cb, without having to grind con / planks first) and ancient spellbook doubles as a good way to get around the wilderness for early irons too, for bosses, revs, mage arena cape, and slayer.

@@InstinctxInstinct Tabs are very useful and underutilised on early irons, particularly Ancient tabs are accessible early as you mentioned. Portal chambers are nice but can't fit that many destinations. I made 50 of almost every non-arcus tab on my new gim. Great for clues, quests etc. Specifically Paddewwa tabs make air orb charging super viable and Catherby tabs see every day use on herb runs once they're unlocked later.

I wish holy wrench got an update with DT2 - 1 extra point per sip is eh. i mean its helpful but as you said it will stop being helpful when you stop caring about prayer potions, so it's technically a medium level item. It would be nice if it received an upgrade so it gave an incentive for high level players to carry and use it.

I never really understood how much the game gives you as far as transportation. Case in point, I've been looking at these fairy rings scattered throughout the game for over 20 years and only just recently finished the first half of Fairy Tale 2 to gain access to them. (I didn't play the game for a solid 20 years nonstop, of course. But I've played RS since like 2001 or 2002.) But back then, you wouldn't use magic as much if you wanted to remain "pure." So teleport spells and stuff fell out of favor with me and I never explored transportation options. I think on this run, it must have started with the Keldagrin cape or the Ectophial, I really started looking at ways to explore the map that I'd never utilized before. And now, I've opened up so many options for getting to places fast for farming, questing, or just avoiding all the time wasted just walking around. One thing I would add to this guide, though, is the Ring of Dueling. Along with the teleport items that did make the video, Ring of Dueling opens up like half of the world for easy travel. So having a stack of these in your bank is a must if you're doing anything in this game that requires traveling from place to place.

Have all of these except for imbued mage cape and POH upgrades. Have all the planks to get 83 construction, just need the willpower and time to make all the oak larders and oak dungeon doors now. Currently 73 Construction, so about 4 to 5 hours of it my guess...

All my combat stats are 80's, and most of the quests are done. I spent MANY attempts trying to just kill Jad with no luck. I can always get to the Jad phase (After like an hour LOL, a decent amount of supplies remaining) but just get too flustered in terms of keeping track of health, prayer, flicks, and the healers, all too much for by brain to take in at once. Near the end of my membership I blew all of my remaining GP on a blowpipe and supplies for the Jad fight and again just keeping going down. I will be getting back into OSRS (members) and will need to get my cash stack up from next to nothing, but one day I will hopefully bring him down. How can one dude be so intimidating and difficult. Skill issue :'(

You can pricate jad on the speed run world's there a quest that gives good items to practice for

use the "italy rock" safe spot and once you get to jad and he spawns his healers, just run out and tap them one at a time until they are all aggro'd. don't kill them after that and then you can focus solely on jad :D ive done jad countless times and my go to setup is this :: Justiciar Helmet (def bonus helps tank rangers and pretty much negates damage from healers at jad) arma chest/legs pegasian boots barrows gloves ring of suffering assembler blessing of your choice blowpipe anguish if you have ancients, bring blood barrage or blood blitz and you won't have to worry about healing throughout the waves.
