Updates: @MrGreenToS points out you can use the wash trough to resimulate the NPCs (in place of instant skip) I suppose I should have been more explicit, but the tanner is the very next house from the millers house, where you wake up after the prologue. I mentioned they were his neighbor but I should have shown the map, for clarity. My apologies They also mention a way to force restock the vendor chests, so check out the comment thread for that to increase the money output of the farm. I took this farm to max lockpicking. XP diminishes as you level but if you get to LVL 12 and take "Master Thief" alongside "Luck of the Drunk", you can drink some alcohol (there's a bunch around this property and Peshek's) and you'll be able to instant unlock all three chests, speeding up cycle time. First method - It took me 13 minutes to go from lockpicking lvl 0 to lvl 6 with stealth lvl 3, and 0 groschen Second method - it took me 21 minutes to go from lvl 0 to lvl 6 lockpicking with lvl 5 stealth, and 7.7k groschen (12 cycles)

Hey thanks for the video, another way to respawn them after lockpicking the house is the use the wash yourself barrel in front of the house and it should be enough time to sprint to the ladder instead of using the wait and timing.
@MrGreenToS5 ай бұрын
Also from further testing if you reload a save, I did an exit one, and use wash then ladder it'll reset the trader and gold chests again full after the 2nd cycle of wash ladder run. I've been respawning them consistently with this method.

@@MrGreenToS fantastic! Nice add. I was naked the whole time so it never let me wash. I take it that is enough time to bring back trader but was it enough to wake Zoro?

@@MrGreenToS very interesting! Unfortunately, they don't have much money but it does add up, for sure. One thing I did notice once when I came back from an exit save is that the ladder didn't banish them anymore. I thought the farm was broken and then I just left the area and came back.

@@imLeyt0n yep! I have that in the pinned comments as another viewer found that after I released video. My problem was I did all my testing naked (from a fresh game) so it wouldn't let me wash myself, so I never discovered that... Sucks I missed the opportunity to share that method in the video. If you're knocking out Zoro, the time skipping method is still necessary, at least, so I only feel half bad...

Another trick that I learned that'll bring this to the next level go up the ladder of banishment after unlocking the hard and (easy chest that has the coins in it). Need a lot of food for next part simply cook something can be anything beets, carrots, chicken on the stove the NPCs respawn after cooking it making it more efficient of not needing Zoro so kill him then climb ladder of banishment then unlock them two chests again rinse and repeat
@TrialBySquire3 ай бұрын
Someone else has mentioned you can use the water trough to respawn the NPCs. Just clean yourself and they'll come back. If you keep Zoro, you'll have just enough time to run to the ladder and get on so that he does the locking. The food is a good find, too. Very creative
@TrialBySquire3 ай бұрын
@rslerch1113 oh, I learned something while testing something else. Because she has that display stock, you could kill the trader and simply stay in the chest room. Unlock, save quite and come back, the chests "should" be locked. This worked in skalitz but I haven't tested here yet. Probably drop a save before attempting. However, depending on hardware, a save quit and return might be slower than the ladder and water trough. But, if it does work, you could do it somewhere with even more chests, like the sassau Armorer (Ota). His "armory" has like 5 or 6 very hard chests. So he'd be the place to go after you get to level 6

@@TrialBySquire Hour or two to get to level 4 so I could choke out a guard and get an axe. Most of my stealth came from choking out travelers after Ratay. I really like how many clothing slots the game has and coming up with the best combination of Armor, Stealth and Charisma with Henry's kit. I don't think the Light Armor perk is worth it.
@TrialBySquire4 ай бұрын
@@rapidsqualor5367 oof. Good to know. I'm working on a video right now that'll get you from lvl 0 to lvl 10 stealth in 25 minutes (in Skalitz). I agree the armor/clothing system is really fun. If they improve on it at all in the sequel it's going to be amazing! I also agree that light armor perk is a waste. The Dodge system just isn't quite responsive enough to make that worth it in most situations. I do, however, like wearing light armor, generally. I think stealth and speed goes a long way in surviving group combat. Are you an axe user, then, or have you changed weapon types? I like to switch it up but probably enjoy mace the most. I'm doing a bow and dagger only playthrough right now that I'm really enjoying, though.

@@dschoene57 I agree that you don't need to farm passed level 6, which is why I mention how long it takes to get to that point. I took the farm to max "for science" but on most playthroughs I'm happy with lvl 6. Still, this method is extremely efficient for getting to level 6 and a good place to convert items into money. The tree of banishment comes in handy for low stress transactions This video is marked as an exploit method to set proper expectations. This is not intended as a "normal gameplay" suggestion and my content generally assumes you've completed the game once already. Not everyone has the time or desire to grind all skills again through conventional means on subsequent playthroughs.

@@TrialBySquire yea they are alive, then i get on the ladder and they disappear, BUT all the chests are still open
@TrialBySquire15 күн бұрын
@notilt9014 start by leaving the area a decent distance and coming back. I believe I've glitched the farm before when save quitting near them. the chests "should" lock when the trader puts her stock away after laying her inventory out on the table. Zoro is only responsible for locking the door. The lady needs about 5 seconds from coming back to lay her inventory out before you want to banish her again. The stock going away is when the locking should occur To test- bring them back (you can actually just use the wash trough) and watch the lady put her stuff out. Then, go ahead and use the ladder and see if that does it. Another way to exploit traders that "display their stock" is to ride far enough away that they "unload" and then come back. Leaving far enough forces their stock back into their chest, causing the lock. One last way is to kill her. While they're dead, you can stay in the chest room (close the door so Zoro don't see you) and save quit the load back in. With each load in the chests should be locked. Basically, the game is briefly loading her in but since she's dead she immediately is gone but it does lock the chests. I did that in Skalitz for farming locks. There are other ways but it's all about making them put the display stock away to get the chest to lock, and then allowing them to return to work to complete the cycle.

This does not work anymore. They still disappear but the goods on the table are gone now. And once the locks are picked they do not reset. I tried it yesterday. The chest reset but nothing else did.
@TrialBySquire3 ай бұрын
Time of day is important. Once it gets passed a certain point, Zoro won't be locking the door and, after about 1900, the trader is no longer "working" until 800 the next morning. Try skipping time until the next morning to see if things go back to as expected.

@@TrialBySquire Yes, for me it's not so much the time factor but having done it so often, I still may want to play again but not necessarily the tedious parts. Recently I'm going for 'realistic' roleplay runs without much exploits. In the last one I did that as well and when it came to building Pribyslavitz, instead of going looting, I simply used a console command on PC to give Henry the necessary 18k Groschen for building the bare minimum to get the village running, because why not? I've done it legit often enough.
