That same brand hand warmer has some that stick to the bottom of your socks. They work insanely well for sleeping in a bag. I’ve done it a few times this season. I hate sleeping with socks on but my feet definitely stayed warm

it's sitting on ice not floating above water. no fish can pop the tent. they need to drill the ice first and how tf fish can do that?

Never have I ever: Ice camped. As an Okie, the closest lake has only been frozen over deep enough to walk on once. Even during my time in the Army, I was never around a frozen body of water for long enough to explore. It all seems so… awful AND awesome. Awful, because I hate the cold. But, it IS awesomely beautiful. I can see the appeal. Amazing video, Mav. BUY THE HOUSE!!! Location!!! 😅

At least you have some snow in Minnesota. Here in Saskatchewan there is none in sight till at least Dec 31'st. The ground is super hard tho. Had to use a hammer to pound in some stakes for the Christmas inflatables in the yard so they won't blow away. The Santa and the Reindeer are totally stuck to the ground. I feel an inflatable tent would get stuck overnight and be hard to get off the ice without ripping it. Happy holidays everyone!

I mean he literally set up a tent on ice and then went to sleep..kinda a trash video, so I’d say peoples comments about his quality of videos going downhill are extremely warranted, especially if you look at his older videos quality vs now. Sad to see, but definitely not just jealous people. It’s honest and real feedback that he should listen too.

I don’t believe he has a lot of experience with the ice fishing so he could learn some tips from you and then be able to take that back with him when he goes fishing and then hopefully, use that for some ice fishing trips with him and his neighbor.

Technically, winter doesn't begin for a few more days, but I live in S. Florida, so what the hell do I know? BTW, I've been stuck down here for 23 years and would do just about anything for a foot or 2 of snow. Year round warm weather gets real old real quick. Always love your videos. I get to live vicariously through your adventures, especially when it's 85° in the middle of freakin' December.

@@janisg7409well, I was able to handle the Temps in Colorado in January, and in New York in February. Whereas, it's true that I grew up in the south (Atlanta), my point is that I miss the experience of having 4 distinct seasons. I miss the fall colors. I hate the monotony of the never ending tropical existence. It gets really old. If you're betting I couldn't handle a really cold winter, you lose. I've delt with cold and I deal with heat (I work outside in 98° heat all late spring to to mid-fall. When I say it gets old, I mean it. So, please, keep your ignorant assumptions to yourself. It just makes you look like an idiot.

Walking on thin ice during the day with sun and mid 40's sounds so scary. Ice melts slow but man that would definitely make me nervous. If i was to get on ice it would have to be after like a month or more of below 20 degree high temps.
