I have the same setup as you I would add a shovel and come along.50 ft.rope for remote lakes .

Shovel I keep in the sleigh usually and tow rope under the seat with some other accessories I forgot to show under the seat

Man! I’ve been chasing the same prob with my Lix. Doesn’t save waypoints or the trail once it turns off and on. Pain in the ass. Let me know if you find a solution 👍

The only solution I have come across is to re format the whole unit. I haven’t tried it myself yet though but that’s what I have been told is the only way to fix it. Have to figure out how to save all the data on the unit first and then basically restore it to factory default. Huge pain in the ass though, who makes a gps unit that doesn’t save waypoints, seems like a major design flaw!

@ I agree! When mine shit the bed we were on lake Winnipeg. Unit got shut off, everything deleted from the way out. Couldn’t find our way off lol rodeo! Thanks for the intel

@@procrushangling369 We did the same thing up north, flew into the remote lodge used two separate units to have a backup. Plotted routes of safe ice and key points. Shut units off midday to save battery and turned them back on to empty screens! Huge waste of time and money
