They might be the team with the most depth at all positions in cfb, probably equal to Georgia but I like Texas’ #1 and 2 QB more than Georgia’s 1+2 qb. At the time Texas played them, Michigan, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt and atm were ALL RANKED IN THE TOP 25. go research it. The fact that Texas beating them helped send them out of the top 25 doesn’t mean Texas didn’t play any top 25 teams. They DID, and they helped turn them in to not-ranked teams. Texas is on the upswing. They just recruited the #1 class in the country for 2025. Depth is good and growing. Stability at qb, coaching, lines, everything. Every team Texas has played this season has said the same thing, so far Georgia is the only team to get it done. don't think Georgia played a perfect game but did play their best two games of the season so far. Should be fairly simple to correct, get rid of the selection committee. Use either the Coaches Poll or AP, or even weight them both evenly, and you have all of the brackets and seedings, top 4 get byes. Higher ranked team gets the home game for round one. This year AZ State and Boise State would both get in but would not get byes.

Clemson had the dudes on offense to keep up with Texas, even if they've been inconsistent this year. They kept up to a degree yesterday by having a good offensive day, giving Klubnik a lot of time in the pocket. I apologize to any Sun Devil fans, but I'm not sure they have the same caliber of dudes as Clemson does (see, e.g., blue chip ratio for Clemson vs for Arizona State). Not that many teams have pushed around Texas's D-Line since mid-season.

Clemson is ranked 64th against the run and ASU is ranked 22nd. Before someone says we played no rushing team in the Big-12 we did that against Taj Brooks and RJ Harvey who are two pretty good running backs. Also I think the turnovers will play a part. ASU is ranked 2nd overall in turnover margin and Texas is ranked 100th. Everything else you said it spot on, I just wanted to point out those outliers that could allow ASU to stay in this game. That being said as an ASU fan I am predicting 30-24 Texas. Hope I'm wrong. Go Devils!!!

AZ ST. and Boise are basically the same team with phenominal RBs who have done it all year but now they face the big boys. SEC and Big 10 Ds are built to take away the run. I think one or both dogs will suffer and one may get blown out. Sun Devils strength (Scatabo) is Texas's strength stopping the run. I think the fantasy ends here. ASU’s defense is very underrated, even though they are #4 in takeaways with 14! There running defense is #17, and offense is #14 in country! And yes, they played 4 teams with top 15 running backs in the country! This team (ASU) is very well rounded on both sides of the ball, and they are so damn hungry, and play the hardest out of all the playoff teams! Talent wise, it definitely goes to Texas, but fortunately most of the time, the team that is the hungriest, and play the hardest football, come out as champions! actually Texas played Georgia in Georgia and lost in overtime after losing their #1 player kelvin banks. Texas also beat Michigan at Michigan witch Ohio state cant do, and beat a&m at a&m who (if Texas didn't beat them, would still be ranked top 23 and in the playoffs.
