T shirt fans will always cry and complain about the refs reminds me of the chiefs complaining about the refs at home games. I think Texas moves a lot of money around behind the scenes. Their first season in the sec is the first season in 10 years that they are good, and they get the easiest schedule and lose to the only good opponents they face.

Same as a neutral Atlanta resident. Not the same in that I thought the fan bases didn't show up full strength. I've been to many CFB games at the Benz. This had a weaker initial energy an attendance than all of them. I think it's because a lot of people thought this game was gonna be such a disaster for ASU. If they knew how good it was gonna be they would've shown up better.

I was at this game and man what a classic. Shout out to the ASU fans that stayed into the game even when they were down because they brought a ton of energy and their team needed it. This was the game everyone thought was going to be the biggest cakewalk but ended up being the best/closest game of the playoffs so far. I was just happy that the Sun Devils got this far. They didn't prove anything of the sort. Texas let up in the 4th quarter, and their pass defense is very poorly coached. Sam Leavitt is one of the better young QBs in college football and has NFL tools. They weren't prepared for any of Arizona State's trick plays, which they used against other teams, even used them in the Big 12 Championship Game. Less about ASU and more about Texas's red flags. A well-coached team like Ohio State would have kept Arizona State at 8 in the 4th quarter.

Texas's 4th quarter defense was atrocious, and Arizona State was helped out by the refs and the Texas kicker. Sarkisian's coaching decisions will cost Texas a national championship. A great coach would have closed that game out easily 31-8.

ASU deserves major props. They came to *PLAY* and had Texas on the fence. But Texas came through in spectacular fashion. 4th and 13 is insane. Definitely grew more gray hairs after that.

Sarkisian almost cost them the game. He tried to be aggressive at the worst possible time, and gave ASU life. Ewers made some clutch throws at the end, but as someone that's watches every Texas game, he's way too inconsistent to be elite. The running game has been impressive considering their top man was injured before the season even started. Really only Georgia and ASU have been able to contain it.
