Thank you; that’s so nice to read! However I must warn you, there’s no escape now you’ve been pulled into the black hole of early medieval embroidery 😄. I hope you have a fantastic trip. I remember when I saw the BT for the first time. You never forget the size, the 3D-ness and then the undertaking it must have been. Enjoy!

Do lay people have access to your academic papers, or is that only for your peers? Loving the process. Been unable to do any fabric crafting due to a recurring injury. Waiting to heal so I can get back to my embroidery. Loving learning from you. Thanks for the update.

Yes, everyone can. When I’m allowed I put my articles on Academia and Research Gateway. They have to have been published for a certain amount of time and then I can upload them. If you go to my website you’ll see a list of my publications and where the books can be bought as well. I’m glad you’re enjoying the process. I hope you’re able to get crafting, even if only a little, soon. I hate it when I can’t craft so full sympathy from me!

Thank you for your comment. This video is a monthly update where I brief summaries what I’ve been up to over the previous month. There is a section of video showing the stitching, as I mention the Bayeux Tapestry re-creation project. There are also links to the main videos in the video itself and comments section.
