I love your videos. Keep them coming. Thirty-six more months and god willing I’ll get to retire and guess where I’m heading.

I love badgers. 😍 I saw every animal there was to see on my first trip to Yellowstone, which included a badger family. Tears of happiness & excitement streamed down my cheeks. Needless to say, but I enjoyed this one a lot!

Miss Yellowstone everyday since I first saw it this past July. Can't wait to get back there next year in June. Such a majestic place to be surrounded by.

I first experienced Yellowstone back in '83, coming in from Red Lodge over Beartooth pass. Thought I had died and gone to heaven. But just like you, I want to concur, I miss it every day. Haven't been there since Aug of '20. Thanks to Stan, I get to see it through his lens quite regularly.

Stan, I enjoyed this short vid. I’m wondering if you would consider leading small groups on trails in Yellowstone since you are very familiar with the park?

Hey Stan I have a question … I live in Central Florida and this past sat morning (early around 730) my husband and I went for a hike at a popular trail (but we were the first ones there that day) …. About 1.5 miles into the hike, the most vicious, deep, very deep, roars came through to us from the woods. Prob 30-40 yards away is our guess. 5 total roars - it shook us to our soul. We believe it was a black bear (def not an alligator) … we’ve encountered black bears in this trail in the past but they’ve usually just disappeared into the brush. This was very unusual and frightening!! My guess is that prob we were I between her and her cub (cub maybe on the other side of the trail)…. Or do you think maybe she was protecting her food? We couldn’t see her - but she was quite close. A couple approx 100 yards away also heard it. Thoughts? Thanks for your time 😊

What animal was that about 1 minute in? What a beautiful area for hiking around. Really cool 👍🏻

It is a Badger, Jason. We just returned from our out west trip back to Wisconsin and hiked many trails around Yellowstone/Glacier. Saw a Badger and a Griz on the Beaver Pond trail (by Mammoth Springs) in Yellowstone. This is a nice less trafficked area that Mr. Mills hiked. Doing some hikes and getting away from the crowds was most rewarding for us. We are in our late 50s and saw many people our age doing the same. Happy hiking!

@@BackpackingWithJason You too, Jason. Back in Wisconsin now and we will go up north for a couple long weekends for fall colors and before it gets too cold. Great memories out west though!
