Life is about lessons and they are repeated until they are learned. Some of us take longer than others to learn and that's okay. We all live life at our own pace. Each of us is walking a different path with different lessons to learn. If they're not learned in this lifetime, the lessons will be repeated in subsequent lifetimes. The biggest lesson everyone must learn is how to love. You seem to already have that one down but may need to learn discernment to discover those who are worthy of your love. Thank you, Melinda! I needed this lovely heartfelt music this morning. ❤️ Many blessings and safe travels back to Utah. I can relate to you on many levels. Especially the asking why???? We all have a journey, and I call mine a climb. Sometimes, it has rocky and narrow places we have to move through by small steps. The key I am finding is to just take one at a time. Those narrow places are part of the trail. Just keep moving. Even if it is slowly. I am in that part of the climb right now. It is tempting to give up when I feel overwhelmed. But like you I am a stubborn woman. I think taking hold of that part of my personality in this section of the trail upward is important. Using this trait of character will serve me and you and other precious friends here. 🧡 Using stubbornness to fuel joy! ⛽️ Refuse to allow grief to steal joy. Circumstances often can affect personal happiness because they can be unexpected even fickle. But joy is diffrent. Joy can be there like a soft pillow to rest a weary heart. It comes from that inner knowing that things will be ok. Beauty will always be where we choose to see it. I am learning even at 66yrs young how to keep lifting my eyes upward. Keep being grateful, keep believing in the truth. Allowing grief to work through is necessary to maintain peace. We are created to feel. Expressing your self and how you feel is the most important part of healing. You are doing this. It helps others including me to keep moving upward. My prayers are with you today as your journey back home. 🙏 ❤

Thankyou for sharing I totally relate to, yes I'm a woman of hard knocks! Myself. Because I don't know how to give up on someone. To the point it almost breaks me. To surrender to the fact its not going to turn out the way you wished,dreamed, hoped for! For self preservation we must learn to let go. Like that saying if you Love someone, or something set it free; if it comes back to you; It was yours all along. If it doesn't then that experience with that person or thing was not ment for you. Hard pill to swallow; however something wonderful becomes possible! Certainly learn to let go. However never give up on the hope; that good things, people and places, that were ment for you, will come into your life.
