You look beautiful!! So hard for me to understand how sick you are when I sit here looking at your stunning face. 😍 So glad to hear both the good news on MRI and the LT disability!! Those are huge wins.

Oh sweetie. You are doing so much for your healing. You have done amazing things in your life. Honor these successes. The. Next may be different. At least this is what I tell myself during these times of transitions. Much love to you.

You really minimized your kick-ass voice, Melissa! You were really the soul of Orange Sky and although they tried to fill in after you had to step back, nobody could bring the energy that you did from the crowd. I'm finally at a point that I can come over after our own health issues so plan to visit soon . Maybe we could harmonize on something together. And not being able to sing during the pandemic sent me into a real depression myself and I wasn't dealing with all that you had on top of it.

Thank you for your generous words, my friend. I'm glad you're doing better, and I would love to see you anytime. Come over when you can!

First Unitarian does not appear to want to bring back soul assembly no matter how much I beg... But I credit Orange Sky for inspiring me to go back to making music. I've been playing ukulele for about a year now and I also play some piano/keyboard. Hopefully someday I'll be able to play something for you :)

Rochester! I should have known, I was a Westchester brat. ;) That's fantastic using your music to engage w/your community, church & otherwise. You should keep working on it, recording yourself singing, spoken word, whatever! There's so much you can do w/a sound file nowadays (seriously). I came to music very late, never learned to read or write or play properly, (even tho my estranged dad was a famous jazz pianist/arranger, it's complicated) but I was always into music, sound recording, samples, sound effects, soundtracks, etc. Finally taught myself key changes around 2014 and made some indie albums... and I'm still experimenting. kzbin.info/www/bejne/goHFdX6XrsucmMk Anyway, thanks again for the positivity! ^_^

Thank you for the encouragement. I miss my band and singing out so much. We were together for 12 years, if you count the pandemic times (when we did very little). If you are ever interested in any type of collab, please hit me up. I'm unable to work now and would love having something to do that isn't time-bound. (I used to be so productive!) We've got halfway decent gear at home for recording, so I can manage anything that's reasonably simple. I have a complicated dad story, too - ultimately a happy one, but unusual. Glad to be in touch with you, Rob.✌🏻

@@Db8it aw, likewise! It would be nice to share tracks & ideas, or talk about process or anything art-related, really. I've been in a *real* creative funk lately. I've relisted my addy in the about section on my channel, so feel free to contact me there anytime, I'm usually around. regards, R
