Early preparations for the swarm season

It is Friday 8th April and a beautiful morning with many spring flowers in bloom. Two of the hives from the garden apiary need to be moved to the farm apiary to free up space in anticipation that the remaining hives will want to swarm in May and this will involve splitting them to prevent them from swarming.
