I love this set …. But I think Lego should do another CMF series with X-men with the correct color suit professor X, Nightcrawler, Cable, Jubilee, and the other main villains . Thanks guys I never had this many likes on an idea for Lego . I also have an idea of doing 6 hero’s and 6 villains the villains I think it should be Sabretooth, Mister Sinister , Mystique, Emma Frost , Bastion , and maybe Pyro

I think a lot of these minifigs would benefit from having dual molded legs. You can even see on cyclops and bishop for example exactly where the dual molding should go. They have printing for a top of a boot but no yellow below.

I just got the Daily Bugle recently and I’m loving it but this new set is just so underwhelming in comparison. I appreciate that we’re getting an X Mansion but I think it needed a bit more time in the oven, especially the minifigs

I just cannot understand why Cyclops has the yellow trunks printed on a blue hip piece instead of just giving him yellow hips. Wouldn't that cost them less and look better?

Bruh, the set is not insane in terms of size, it’s so much smaller in height than regular modulars and rooms are too freaking small and cramped. They could easily make the lawn smaller and the building wider, seems like they want more margin on these sets honestly. Makes me wonder if 2 sets and a MOC would make this building justice. Figs and the review are awesome as always, thanks!

I don’t understand why people want this to connect with the other marvel Modular’s so bad? It’s not even close to the same place. The reason the other sets connect is because in the MCU, they are literally RIGHT beside each other. The sanctum, bugle and avengers tower are all built beside each other if u see the movie but clearly the X mansion isn’t. I would have liked the set more if it didn’t connect. I probably won’t be buying it for that reason alone

My main 2 complaints for this set is the bugle had like 15 extra characters for relatively same price and then the museum has 1000 extra pieces for 30 dollars less and both feel like a slap on the face from Lego but I will still be buying the set

The design is absolutely based on X-97. Each minifigure that is in the show looks exactly like their animated counterpart and the mansion, other than missing a floor, is almost a perfect replica from the outside. And I agree that the alley part should have been removed, but also would advocate for the pavement being excluded. It's supposed to be surrounded by green, and in doing so you would have nearly doubled the footprint of the manor. It would drive up the price a bit, perhaps almost to 400 euro/dollar, but you don't buy a set like this for a cheap present anyway. I understand they did this so you could add it to your modular city, but it just feels like they seriously hampered the potential of this set for the sake of uniformity. Heck, I almost wish they came up with a second, "DLC" set with Jubilee, Beast, Mystique, Calisto etc. and a side build that doesn't really matter because in fact there are instructions to do away with said side build and use the pieces to build up/out the mansion and use the extra baseplate to create a driveway through the weaponised garden up to the more impressive mansion. I'm really excited about the minifigs and the facade of the set, but the more I realise just how cramped they made this set which is supposed to serve as a school and home for so many people, the more I question it's value. It's too big for a casual play set, yet it's too small in detail for a modular-level set.

Jean grey looks better if her waist piece was dark blue like on her chest and shoulder to contrast the yellow of her legs. Jean wears these bluish underwear style over her pants and her legs do not show it. If you replace the yellow waist with a dark blue one it looks more real to her costume

They’re selling this like it’s an adult collectors item but with the millions of stickers it looks like an upscaled $250 play-set with tiny rooms you can’t really play with so it ends up being neither. Then you have reused figures like Wolverine that have better printing from a $5 minifigure pack.I was excited when I heard they were creating an X mansion but this is a pass for me. Looks like a cash grab because the X-men 97 show is really hot right now.
