Shad is here now at Bonneville dam, Washington state. But it's still very early, and today is a very slow day. I landed 10 shad in 6 hours, from8:30AM to 2:30PM. Again, the most important trick for shad fishing is: Keep your line tight! Let the jig sink for about 8 to 10 seconds to the bottom before reeling in if the current is pretty strong.
