Yeah... even when I go to dead servers and there is no one in them raiders eventually spawn like crazy because there are no players. And there are a few spawns that are stupid because you usually have to fight on spawn. I went to labs day two after finding a key and accidentally hit Santa because he was just chilling with the rogues I was fighting... and he intantly killed me 😑 I do believe streamers get some kind if special treatment. Especially when it comes to loot. I play labs A LOT and while I do find good loot. I almost never find loot like they do every raid... and out of the hundreds of raids I have never seen a colored key card on labs. I've found plenty on bosses and violet on woods a few times.

I regret paying 200 dollars for this game, decided to come back this wipe to see if the games gotten any better, still too many cheaters and every time I try to load in on a scav i sit in a que for 30 mins before getting "server connection lost" which gives me a new scav and resets the timer to 30 mins on top of that... Your game has failed when an hour of time is wasted because your servers still cant handle an influx of players even with the arena servers taking a bunch of load off of the main ones.... meanwhile when i join a game as a PMC it only takes 3-4 minutes and never get server lost.

There's definitely routes. I've made my own reserve routes that get consist money. I'm sure with the thousands of hours pestily has, he knows most of the loot spawn locations and creates routes. You also have to respect other people's spawn locations. It's really big info to know all the PMC spawn spots. Usually you decide your route by your spawn location, and avoid other people's routes. Simply put, they'll get there first, be looting and hear you invading their space. The rat always has the advantage unless you're extremely geared. Even then, it only takes one to the face. A lot of deaths in tarkov are aimlessly pushing into someone else's territory. Also agree, don't follow someones "money making route" video. Maybe learn from it, find something like Mapgenie and make your own then adapt from it.

Terragroup invented Ligma, there was a containment breach, and as the virus spread it mutated into Sugmah, killing a majority of the regions populous, leaving normal folk to resort to looting and killing to survive. Those with military background and private security experience stood a better chance at survival.

Im not caught up on it super well, but basically terragroup does good science, this is their lab. Some military groups want that science. USEC takes scientists by force, BEARs contest their action, war breaks out.

@@b.s.7693 Ehhh it's deeper then that. Terragroup was a Big Pharmaceutical company that illegaly obtained certain land that gave resources. Some of the resources are normally used in the making of Nuclear Weapons. They also hired USEC as a security force within the Tarkov Region. Once Russia wanted to investigate Terragroup they made the BEAR PMC group. BEAR were slowly given investigation/raid/kill orders on Terragroup employees and USEC PMC's as fighting started to break out within the city (The games called Contract Wars and Hired Ops are prequels to Escape from Tarkov, the fighting between USEC and BEAR started there). The fighting got to bad that a mass evacuation of Tarkovs citizens was issued, which caused wide spread panic and was a disaster. A massive EMP was dropped on Tarkov by a unknown group which further destabilized the region. The United Nations and Russian Government had to fully step in and then blockade the whole Tarkov region so no one can leave with sensitive Terragroup/USEC PMC/BEAR PMC data. Scav (Scavangers) gangs began rising up from the ashes as Food, Water, and medical supplies became scarce, with scav leaders that act like bosses that have a chance to spawn on each map. You play as one of the left behind PMC's, choosing between USEC or BEAR. You meet Traders and big players also left behind making a living in Tarkov from various backgrounds. There's deeper lore in the game such as the Cultist's who consider the EMP a calling from god (cultistis have a rare chance to spawn on some maps) and the "Overlords" (Hinted at being Rich Southerners from the United States) using Tarkov for Blood Sport betting (Tarkov: Arena) There's a book series that's only in Russian but has been fan translated over to English following one of the left behind scientists that is surviving within Tarkov, from him going from a clueless nerd to a feared legend. Uncovering what his company's true plans within the Tarkov Region were before the collapse.

Progression doesn’t exist in Tarkov, one raid you’re running a PM and the next you’ll find a G17 and running level 5-6 armor. It’s all RNG and knowing your loot spawns.
