Early years - Ranee & Aparna Ramaswamy - Tilang Thillana choreographed & taught by Alarmél Valli

Ranee Ramaswamy and Aparna Ramaswamy are co-Artistic Directors of Ragamala Dance Company. They are senior disciples of the legendary dancer/choreographer Alarmél Valli, and for over 30 years have continued to learn from this iconic artist. This is one of their first recorded performances together, filmed in 1986 at The Ordway Center for Performing Arts in St. Paul, MN.
