My daughters and I (I’m late 30’s and they are 14, 12, and 9) LOVE your channel! We homeschool and have filled their years with great books and stories of history so we love every single video - love love love how there’s no music and it’s just the real sounds of what it would sound like. We’ve learned a lot watching your video and plan on making something over fire on our thanksgiving break. How fun!! Thank you for ALL the work that you put into your videos, I know they do not just happen:)

Then I cooked these for my daughter and now we are teaching my grandchildren! This is such a fascinating look into the past! 🍂🍴 Cooking dinner as they would have in 1828 is a great way to step back in time and appreciate the simplicity and resourcefulness of life back then. The fall season must have been full of hearty, comforting meals, made with whatever was in season. It’s incredible to see how much history can be reflected in the food and the way it’s prepared. Such a unique and educational experience! 👏✨

I know you like a little music at the end of the video, But when I am so relaxed, especially if I'm watching your videos in bed and then that fiddle will come on and I will literally jump out the bed 😂 There goes my relaxation...lol! Maybe some soft music at the end?! I really look forward to new videos every week. I even go back to the earlier ones! But Please reconsider the fiddle! 😅
