Sometimes I wonder if a there's a genetically past on "collective memory". So many cultures have stories of the Bigfoot/sasquatch (N. America), Yeti (Asia), Yowie (Australia). If it was 400,000 years ago and your Neanderthal hunting partner told you about bigfoot, it wouldn't be so farfetched. It's interesting such stories are so prolific in these areas because Giganto didn't live in N. America or Australia but the humans that migrated there from Asia would passed through Giganto's range. At the campfires, stories were told about these "apemen" that their very distant ancestors actually encountered, seared into their memory. How could you forget such a creature?
@harrietharlow9929

That would be quite unforgettable. It's possible that these stories are an echo of memories seared into our subconscious.

They are in fact the natural evolution of the hominids that lived here before aliens arrived and altered their DNA creating a slave labor force of "humans". After their work here was done and they no-longer needed us there was debate as to whether or not we should be destroyed. It was decided that we should be allowed to live and develop further on our own, without the aliens present because they were already causing a contamination. The humans had created religion and had begum worshiping them. All the more reason to leave and let them evolve further on their own. There is a reason no other animal on Earth has evolved the way we have. Because our evolution to our current form with conscious self-awareness is not a natural occurrence at the rate we experienced it. There is no "natural selection" that can logically explain our current evolutionary form or the speed at which we achieved it. Without the aliens we would all be Sasquatch still living in the forests. That is where natural selection and evolution would have brought us thus far. Not this human city-scape we all live in today. That we can thank the aliens for. They are helping us to achieve the next phase in our development, interstellar travel. But, in order to do that we have to be prepared to meet them face to face. We are not quite, yet ready, but almost. In a few more years, once enough people can accept the concept of beings greater then themselves and not want to worship them as gods is when we'll be ready. So get prepared!! They are coming! 😄😆

I am a person who has seen a Sasquatch in Roscommon County, MI around opening day of deer season 1976, and has had multiple encounters with them in Michigan and Ohio. The one hominid type primate that makes the most sense for me is they are a direct ancestor of a specie that never went extinct, or relative of Gigantopithicus, as they are in the same height range and were forest dwellers. They just as easy could have migrated to North American and Australia during the last ice age as have humans.

@@joshnieboer3947 Roscommon County sighting was an area my Grandfather first hunted in early 1920s and then with his sons. It is just a bit SW of Lake St. Helen area, where I was positioned is known as nine mile muskege area. Encounter in Michigan Sept. 1, 1996 about 3 am, staying at my best friends 10 acre wooded property in Mt. Haley Township of Midland County. The creature made a hideous scream, known as woman being killed scream, only ridiculously loud. It was probably out by his inground pool, very close. Even though heavily armed, no way were we going outside to face what could make that scream. Other events in Iosco County, MI, my sister and BIL Round/Indian Lake cabin 2 am in morning, I was on the porch. Huge scream 400 yards away, followed by very loud imitation owl noise 300 yards away, followed by loud imitation loon noise about 200 yards away. Then about 10 seconds later at what seemed to me to be a mile to the north in the Huron National Forest came the Ohio Howl, and then all made sense. Probably a scavaging party out and about looking for left over human food and such from July 4 time frame. Earlier in this year, 2011, early February, I also found a fresh trackway in 20 inches of snow at last house on Latham lane before the forested started. My Golden Retrievers went nuts and wanted to go back to sisters cabin as I investigated the trackway. They would not follow me, just continous barking. Also the neighbor at my sisters cabin, and friend of mine, saw a huge male Bigfoot walk down a trail towards him while bow hunting In Iosco County in year 2000. Just the sight of a creature that was this big and not suppose to exist scared him so bad, he gave up hunting. 11 years later his voice still cracked with scared emotion as he told his story to me.

our evolutionary history is among the most fascinating subjects a person can tackle. I often wonder if future zoos would have genetically re-engineered species from our ancestry in them. I can see us bringing back all kinds of animals such as Neanderthals or mammoths. More fascinating, is the possibility that we could someday drop a large item of engineered organic matter onto a planet like Mars which would work with its current atmosphere to make a more Earth-like one. ALL of that starts with understanding where we came from, learning as many "whats" and "whys" as we can until we finally come to understand more fully the biological sciences within evolutionary biology.

And our big boys Yowies in Australia. The little fellas we have up and down the east coast called Junjadee, 4 to 5 foot in height are often described as very similar in appearance and size to Homo Floresiensis who inhabited the Indonesian Island of Flores 50,000 years ago. Back then Australia New Guinea and parts of Indonesia were joined as the one continent Sahul, with Flores close enough to make only a short drift to Sahul possible for small populations to migrate by land through New Guinea down the then east coast of Australia. This is the same time period the first Australian Aboriginal peoples migrated south to Australia along the same route. I know a local family group near me very well and I haven't just caught a glimpse here and there, I've known and built in up enough trust with them to be accepted into 'their space' and see them as they are and who they are. Except for their monkey like face with a prominent muzzle their body arms hands legs and feet are human like and lean but covered in inch or so thickish but not bigfoot like dense long orange redish hair. Their behaviour and personalities are more human like but with an obvious intelligence for survival and knowledge of physics and nature far superior than ours. Probably why they are smart enough to stay living comfortably in their own little world very few people are invited into but so close to us we could hit them throwing a stone from your yard into the bush behind your back fence. They're too clever to want to live in our world.

Teeth are among the toughest substances in a land animal, since they need to stand up to the rigours of chewing for an entire adult lifespan. That means they decay more slowly than bones and soft tissues, and have a better chance of being preserved.

Because it is tall it could get more human females than I could get currently being 5'8. That's all that really matters as long as you're tall

Statistically, it's cheekbones. From James Dean to Elvis to the Bangtan Boys (and also reaching back to depictions like Alexander the Great), men with prominent cheekbones are always considered the "hottest" apes in the troop. Sense of humour always ranks #1 in polls, and deep voices feature heavily - but cheekbones seem to be tops in terms of pure visual cues.
