The first time I heard Enough was a live recording and I absolutely LOVED it. I was somewhat disappointed with the recorded version and now it all makes sense. The world need's Tarja's version of Enough!

I do remember "Enough" was going to have a music video, I remember the pink/purple outfit for it and everything. I think an accident happened with the editor of the video? and it got scrapped. Sooooo sad, because "Enough" is such a special song, so much potential, even if the final mix does indeed sound kinda weak, you can still feel the potential! 🖤

I can't imagine the pressure from all sides that Tarja was feeling. The label wanting profit and expecting her to be ultra popular. The media waiting for ton of diss songs talking about the split. The fanbase wanting her to do Oceanborn part 2... My Winter storm is my least favourite album. Not because it is bad. It is really good and musically and vocally impeccable but it feels, cold, safe, expected, not much creativity or interesting musical ideas. Not surprised, as Universal had Tarja tied down to this idea that she would be doing what Nw was doing back then and, almost all of the songs were written by someone else. Oasis is still one of my favourites. Not surprised that it was written by her. Funny, she mentoring not liking how Enough turned out. I think the sound and the lyrics to be pretty damn good. Will never forger Tarja's intense performace in Ostrava where she almost broke the mic stand... kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJych3mcba-Wrbs Regardless, MWS was obviously a success for her. However, the leap in composition and musical creativity grew insanely after Colours in the Dark, which wouldn't be possible without this first step. My favourite album is tied between: In the Raw and The Shadow Self. Imo, Tarja's pinnacle as a composer. Thank you EarMusic for giving Tarja the freedom to compose what she wants.

"My Winter Storm" isn't appreciated enough, it's a masterpiece. It has such a unique atmosphere. Also I completely see her hating how "Enough" sounds and I don't think it suits "MWS" aestetics so all to the better.
