As a mostly solo player this was great. Teaming up with randoms to compete was alot of fun. You need at least 3 imo. I've done a couple 5/5 and 3 people is min.

I picked up the F7C mk2 and I've put on an extra Rhino on top and a Panther on the nose and I like the look of that setup.

I also went with single gun on the nose to keep the sizing up in current patch but did the pair of 2s on the ball in turret. Ship is very neat but has some topics I want to cover on use cases and limitations

I actually soloed a few of these. It's pretty tough to find the terminals with the codes fast enough, but it's definitely doable. Especially since the enemies that spawn in the elevators are usually braindead and just stand there.

Right, with super low server FPS that is possible just painful at higher levels due to so many upload cycles to do. When the server fps rises even momentarily you would be doing not great though

I have done all the missions about 3 times in a row now and in my experience i would say 1. just bring a P8, the NPCs drop a lot of them and it is a really great gun if you headshot you can kill 4-5 NPCs with one mag; 2. Doesnt matter at what stage you and your friends are in the missions the only thing that matters is doing different bunkers, it seems that bunkers only give out 1/5 missions or 2/5, 3/5 so on, if you looking to do your 5/5 and you join up with someone doing a bunker that gives out 4/5 missions that you have already raided on, its not going to complete for you, again you got to look up in your history and get a mission on a bunker that you havent raided before, that way it is going to progress the mission; 3. Get into a server and try to get the most people you can in a single party and just instruct everybody to accept all the missions they get and share them, this way you can fly through all the missions without even playing them, at least that is how we did for a friend of mine, he got 3 missions completed in a minute this way. I see alot of people in chat being like "who got mission 3/5? i need it" ill say this again IT DOES NOT MATTER, THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS RAIDING DIFFERENT BUNKERS" Also i noticed in your video you guys didnt kill the enginner NPC or Civilian NPC, that NPC has a card you can use to hack the servers i think you supposed to use that, if you dont want to kill them just knock them down with MMB

Good tip on the NPCs to get the hacking tool. This makes sense on the different bunker locations aspect and would explain why it felt so random on the numbers of completion for a mixed party of just coming in and folks who had a few done already. The ammo issue is pain point and I stocked my Phoenix with dozens of mags after I got back to port due to this event. Glad to hear it was a smooth run for you and your Party.

Heres my take on it so far. The mission does not spawn in your mobiglass it appears as a prompt in your hud as an accept / deny request use [ to accept. 3 people min makes the mission pretty easy one in server room and 1 on each floor on the bunker searching for codes. Mission (1/5) will have markers for location on the code and the server that requires it. The rest of the missions will NOT have this marker. You will have to run around in a circle checking every screen for the blue screen with the code. Heavy armor and lots of ammo is very good for this. Also bring med stuff and cryptokeys to start the mission. Mission 1 and 2 will only be 2 uploads, 3 and 4 have 4 uploads, and 5 will have 6 uploads. Also all missions mainly have light armor enemies but 3 and 4 will start to spawn medium armor and 5 will spawn heavies.

Ran the whole thing last night with a bunch of randoms. The system we used was just to have the person type in party chat code then when we fond the code we said the code first then the server number. Example: *Server room player* "code", *player finds blue screen* "7665 756" repeat. Also every time you complete a upload the elevators will spawn a enemy so careful of that.

You are spot on regarding the number of uploads per contract level escalation and need to pre-prep needed items. I noted ammo and heavy armor in the video specifically as that's what our groups found as well. Splitting up that much with 3 party members is a bit tough but doable most cases... when the server FPS is low. We had locked 30 Server FPS (yes I know rare) for two runs late Friday night and it was rough when the NPC heavies are actually taking cover and sort of coordinating... but with 4-5 party members its still easy to do in that super high server FPS conditions.

@@RedJay Yeah we have about 4 / 6 people and we might have gotten a little lucky cause the elevators only spawned 1 enemy each and they mostly stayed in the elevators as long as you killed them before they noticed a player.

I'm going to wait to get the Hornet Ghost Mk II when it comes out. I may not do the current event for the upgrade as I believe if I were to CCU from an F7A to the Ghost Mk II it would lose the unique F7A hard point upgrade. Finished. Just me and my friend alone it was not that hard, one sits on server and one runs and gets code, oh and side note.. take down the civilian and search their clothes because they have the terminal key and it bypasses all the hacking that the tygerclaw has to do. It will not give you C1 stat.. if you don't want to fight the turrets grab a vehicle and ride to base from your ship.

Does the warbond CCU have LTR and is it still available? I can’t see a warbond ccu only a standalone ship

Applogies I mis-spoke. THere is only a regular CCU at this moment at 175 USD and carries the same insurance as the ship you are CCU'ing from. Reminder highest insurance in the stack on a ship (or pack of ships) applies, so subscriber and large sale CCUs that carry the good insurance do apply so plan to have one of those as a midpoint in your CCU chains - especially if its a 6 month insurance ship.

Hi Jay, if it's anything like the EPTU the events will span six weeks: Week 1, 5 & 6: FPS combat Week 2 - 4: Space combat. There is no F7C MKII warbond CCU, only a standard one? There is a warbond LTI sale for the whole ship though.

Indeed that is the case on the CCU! Misread CCU Game updates which came after the initial sale and thought the warbond was a new CCU. CCUGame is not just CCUs. Would be good to see a mix a FPS and Space Combat for sure - and this week does involve the delicate removal of a turret before going in which is nice.

I'm surprised by the level of difficulty mentioned here. I played a bunch of these yesterday (around 8) and I actually found the enemies dead easy. Being relatively careful I found I was able to go in and clear the entire room of initial enemies easily on my own, and then when my crew came in and were working on the terminals I found the enemies that respawned would just stand on the elevators staring. In a bunch of cases I was still new to the missions so I actually stopped and stared at the enemies for a while and they just stood there - didn't even shoot at me. Hell one later mission I even joined a team last minute to help them out, so I jumped in with no weapons or armour (just a flight suit and helmet). And I just went in after the others, looted armour and weapons off a couple of bodies, and then I was right there in the fight. Maybe the AI on my server was just bugged? I definitely share the view on ammo though. I initially went in 6 mags on my vest and 2 spare, and before I knew it I was desperately lying great off Ai bodies. It never made it that much harder for me though, just easier not to have to. One thing I will say.. choose a ship with a decent quantum tank/ drive if you can. I started with a small fighter and it was useless. To go from one mission to the next I would need to refuel twice, and by the time I got there the crew were already half finished. I then jumped to a vanguard harbinger which was better, but even that only made 2 or so missions without needing a refuel (they often span on opposite sides of the system). I later went with an MSR which was much better, though it's a bit of a pain to get in and out of and the guns are weak, so you won't do great against the turret(s). 400i did on until I got a mission on the dark side of the planet and realised the headlights don't work. The msr and 400i also both seemed to be a bit ugly to fly in atmo. In the end the vanguard was a pretty good compromise, and something larger like a Connie or 600i would also do nicely. It also isn't a bad idea if you all jump on to one ship and go from mission to mission together, that way you are always working as one unit.

AI is heavily dependent on Server FPS (viewable in r_displayinfo 1) and even then can be buggy sometimes with whole sites acting up. But when server FPS locks in at 30 its a roller coaster ride especially on harder difficulties. Good point on size of ship and upgrade of quantum drive recommendations!

Best of luck with your solo runs. You have plenty of time. Recommend using "r_displayinfo 1" in ~ console in-game and confirm Server FPS is not above 9 Server FPS as the NPCs will just overwhelm and slow down a solo player too much when high in AI power.

Yes but bring tons of ammo and the other supplies you described and extra freebie suits and helmets. Note the last two if at all possible try to do with 1-2 folks on a server at least.

How do you know you've completed week 1 thoufh? I've done 7 or 8 runs with them all saying 1/5, 2/5, 3/5 etc during the mission but in the history they all say 1/5 🤔

Even if low server fps you are going to find the enemy randomly work too well and also you are on the clock running to get codes alone which ain't great even if you are not having to watch your back for new spawns. At least one other person makes it much smoother ideally with low server fps.

It's a prompt Ryuk that pops up on your screen and you hold left bracket "[" to accept it. Also parties are constantly forming up to do these at the moment so hit Discords you know and ask in a busy channel and if you do not have any Communities to hit up then server hop a.few times especially in off hours asking in Global. Pack cheap gear, lots of ammo, and medical and have some fun.

It's more that you have to do this contracts over and over, if each week is like this, that will hurt many folks, especially solo backers - it's a much faster clear rate when you have a few to crew with (even just random ad-hoc party on a server and bring nothing valuable is better then solo for an event like this). Hoping there are more oppotunities down the line for the F7A Mk2 upgrade path after this event for backers who cannot pull all the weeks.

Fun event but the problem is only one can get it. So you have basicly 100 players spamming and clicking accept mission making it almost impossible to get. How CIG did not even mention that detail is beyond me. Very annoying.

This i very clever, Gold Tickets were very solo, these avents are forcing people to play as a Group/Org, that being said, the missions are ass, its very forced, this is dull content....and there's 5 events?.
