When u pay taxes and doesn't even get any benifit from it rather u get treated like trash from government officials who's salaries are paid by your taxes, in India it's a crime to get rich, once u cross a certain amount of income slab u have to give government your 45% of your income and in return u get nothing? From date of purchase but effective from 2018 April. Like me ,invested in 2014, so no tax till 2018 March 31. After that concept of LTCG comes Yes irrespective of ur tax slab
