Very interesting. Love your channel ! How do you not become dependent on your affiliates for revenue? Eg sync where you may be inclined not to review a new product in that area or not negatively comment on sync? Or not remove older videos which no longer apply ? Also by you doing affiliate and product sales for revenue does this mean the patreon model is not critical anymore/or eventually? Thanks for the video!!

I’m not sure I completely understand your concern, affiliate revenue is a part of an overall strategy, and not yet an “all your eggs in one basket” situation. If you pick your affiliate partners well, I think you can expect to have good long-term relationships with them. As far as the Patreon model goes, I look at affiliate marketing is complementary and far wider reaching. A patron community is a small number of people you have a very close relationship with recommending products thriugh affiliate marketing can have far broader reach

I base my digital product or program buys primarily upon one thing. It's support! When I say support ... I mean .....is there another human that I can talk to on the phone ... without being on hold for 3 hours first ....who will help me...who speaks English that I can understand . End of story. Often there are better products.. with terrible support ....Chat support is usually not worth a damn ....for MANY reasons. Very often the person you get doesn't know shit. They just send you to instructions on their web site. It absolutely amazes me that companies can be so successful serving only tech savvy people .... unlike me. this really pisses me off. But, Steve....you're a real tech savvy guy. What about us dummies? A product may work great for you because of your skills...what about those of us who are not so ....intuitive about this stuff? You're not in the business of giving support to us... even though you recommend products....If I was in your shoes....I would not want to get a message from some irate buyer who tells you that the support for the products you recommend have crappy support.
