Hi, It's quite complicated in the UK you need to have private hire licence, like a proper taxi driver. Some councils are easy knowledge tests some very hard. I'm holding Bristol City license I failed twice got right in the third attempt. But next to Bristol is South Gloucestershire it's same city basically and knowledge test is very easy. I'm full time taxi driver and Uber for me is just on the side. It's quite big investment in the beginning to become a taxi driver here in the UK. I don't know what to suggest for you. @@Guest01010 If you want to operate in Bristol I recommend for you to get South Gloucestershire council badge. It's very simple knowledge test even my daughter could pass it compare to Bristol. And you can license until 5 years old car where in BCC 3 years. But if you decide to go hard way for BCC where is no advantage at all. I'm not working on Uber much most of my work is private and executive. Lexus in my opinion is too expensive for only Uber jobs. I will choose Toyota Corolla for Uber jobs it's got quite big boot and spacious for passengers it's cheap to run, petrol self charging hybrid doing great job in the city and it's a lot cheaper than Lexus. This is my opinion don't spend big money on car only for Uber jobs.
