I used to think every investor lose out during inflation, meanwhile, some make millions. I also thought everybody went out of business during the Great Depression, but some went into business. The bottom line, there's always depression for some and profit for others, it all starts with having the right mindset. That said, I've set asides $250k to invest for the future, unfortunately, I'm a complete noob.

Bad year for me, META is down 40k, ALLP is down 35k, Draft Kings is down 6k, NIO is down 15K, ABML is down 8k, and my wife doesn’t know. I'm just hanging on to Jim Cramer's words about opportunities in volatile times so perhaps, I either wait for a recovery or pick profitable investments to substitute for my loss.

@@marnikacher Well agreed, that's the more reason I prefer my day-to-day market decisions being guided by an invt-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short term, at the same time laying off risk as a hedge against inevitable downturns, coupled with the exclusive information & analysis they get, it's near impossible to not out-perform. I've been using a coach for over 3 years, and my portfolio has yielded from an initial $500k to a ballpark estimate of $1.8m as of today.

That story hit home for me Rashad! Last year in March I had a business trip to attend in New Jersey for a couple of weeks (I live in Atlanta where Delta is from). When I landed I never received my luggage, took an entire day to even get them to acknowledge my luggage was missing. I waited the two weeks that I was in Jersey after filing a missing luggage report with them and still, no compensation or anything (I packed ALOT; major mistake). After two months, in May they give me 300 dollars (I easily had thousands of dollars worth of items plus my actual bag). I had to call them everyday for 3-4 hours to even talk with someone. I say all that to say, as a Atlanta native, that is the ONLY major Georgia based company that I will never do business with again. They would have to drag me off another airline like they did bruh on United in 2017 before I go back to Delta 😂.
