Hello! Yes, I forgot to mention Jungle Cruise. I just don’t like that ride at night. 😅 I feel like it’s too dark to appreciate it properly. I wish they had better lighting at night. I was there on an early entry night and was curious how it worked. I had closed out the night with Big Thunder and got on Pirates basically right at 11. I attempted to order food at Casey's with mobile order on my way out but was denied because I wasn't eligible, but thankfully counter service happily took my order!

I have a quick question, have you been able to be in a virtual queue twice for Tron by booking it at the early morning drop and then for the 6 pm for extended hours? I will be going to Magic Kingdom for the Halloween Party Event and I am not sure if I will be able to book two virtual queues for the same day and if they will have another virtual queue drop in the evening for the special event that I could join if I was in the morning one. I would really love to ride Tron at night as well. Do you recommend I just wait for the Halloween party evening drop? Or can I do both in the morning and later on?

Your videos are very good! I was there two weeks ago for EEH and unfortunately when my TRON boarding group was called the line still extended all along the bridge. I decided to skip it and focus on other attractions. Just a heads up that if you get an earlier call back this might happen. Mine got called immediately and even though I waited until the last of my window to head there, the line just hadn’t cleared through.

Completely worth staying up for the Extended Magic Hours. Better time during the day is spent back at the resort enjoying the pool, restaurants, pool bars, and the resort itself. Evening EMH, with all the lights, and low crowds, is very Magical!

Another very informative, and perfectly timed video for me Rob. As I said since we're retireed we will be making our "you can't take it with you" visit to Disney in Jan. '24. We plan on staying at the Contemporary, and take advantage of the extended hours at the Magic Kingdom (if available). So this video was very helpful. Great question! I would suggest thinking more about how the time of day affects the ride. The rides that are completely indoors and have long waits during the day (Peter Pan’s Flight, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean) are great to do during after hours. For me, I love Big Thunder during the day or during fireworks. After hours is not my favorite way to experience that attraction. Jungle Cruise is WAY better during the day, for example. Hope you have an amazing first visit!!! 😃

Hi! Are the waits during evening hours so much lower in MK vs. Epcot because it’s later in the evening (11-1 vs. 9-11pm) and there are also more rides available? Is this typical or was this a lucky night? We’re planning on doing the Epcot EEH but this one seems so much more worthwhile. Even 7 dwarves was shorter than the wait for Remi in most of the videos I’ve seen.

We have used EEH at Epcot several times and been very successful. Even during holiday crowds. The only downside is that they close the world showplace walking path from France to Norway. So to ride Remy and FEA you have to be prepared to walk the path toward UK and on around from there. So just plan your strategy around that if you want to include soarin’ and TT and guardians. We felt like the wait times were great and we rode everything we wanted.

If I remember correctly there were no MNSSHP scheduled on Wednesdays last year and so far, Nov1 is the only one this year. I would guess it would be changed to DHS that evening. They have done that a few times.

Yes. We have used this park a few times and have gone to guardians to queue up before the official park close/start of EEH, during fireworks, and been able to tap in and get started a few minutes early. There is a flood of all the EEH guests at park close to ride so the line gets long quick. If you can get a jump on that it helps so you can ride others attractions during EEH. Hope that makes sense.

@@EarScouts yes I’d be interested to know if it works for you. We’ve done that at least twice. Once on a day we had been in Epcot earlier and once when we hopped and only came for EEH. We arrived at the GOG around 30 min before park close with our VQ already reserved and the CM let us go. Hardly any other guests in the queue bc the last boarding group had already been called and most were watching Epcot forever. Worked perfectly for us. We marked that off our list and went on to do all the other attractions we wanted and went to Remys last and then out on the Skyliner. I think what makes the difference is the VQ. If day guests were allowed to enter the queue up until closing it wouldn’t work as well because the wait time would waste too much of the time you have to use for EEH. I hope that makes sense. We will be in Epcot and MK next weekend. Maybe we will see you! Thanks for all your videos and info.

I thought you could get a boarding pass for tron at 6pm from anywhere and didn’t have to have entered MK as long as you have a park hopper and have entered your first park. Has that changed recently ?

Hi Jennifer - that was not my experience with Guardians and I was told by a CM that when park hopping, you have to tap in. That said, others have said they were able to. Based on my personal experience, I wouldn’t bank on it. Just make sure you check at 5 and can get to MK if you need to. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Great question. I tend to avoid MK if I have the option on days that there is an after hours event like Extended Evening hours, mainly because the park will start to get more crowded as the night goes on instead of the other way around, which would not work in your favor. The exception to this are nights when the park closes REALLY early for an after hours event (like 6pm or 7pm) because then lots of regular guests avoid MK due to the shortened hours so lines can be a lot better. That said, this works best if you have a park hopper so you don’t miss out on a whole evening of park time in another park. Thanks for watching! 😃
