Fascinating!…. As we are observing other planets they are observing us,I really don’t believe that we are alone…
@RightsForZombies4 ай бұрын
I think we’re alone in the sense that any life out there is so vastly different to our own they wouldn’t be recognisable as life forms as we know them. Perhaps something simple can be found in our solar system with potential buried liquid oceans, but I’m talking about outside of our solar system. The chances that life not just exists but is similar enough to us (given how their worlds would be very different and environment strongly effects evolution) that it’s recognisable and has comparable societal systems and technology is inconceivably small. I think alternative astrobiology is the best chance at finding life. We need to be imaginative as scientists. For too long we’ve thought inside a very rigid box and we’re rapidly learning that accepted scientific fact relating to space is in fact completely incorrect or very different to what was believed to be true. I don’t think finding intelligent life should be the focus. Finding ANY life, even the tiniest microorganism should be the focus because it’s far more realistic. If we can find life forms that don’t conform to our earthly rules of biology and biochemistry then that’s going to give us a much better idea of what might be out there and what traces of life to look for. If we just look for replicas of earth we’re very much limiting ourselves. Then there’s the fact we’re limited severely by the ever-expanding nature of the universe, dispersing everything further and further apart. If there were a comparable intelligent alien race they’re likely so far away from us we’ll never make contact, at least not until we can master light speed travel. Not just that, but intelligent life is always assumed to be more advanced when they could easily be less advanced.

We will never reach it as its so far away so I don't know why they even care to study it if they can't even touch it.

The fermi paradox is simple. (LOL right...) It's a simple catch 22. In order for a species to detect other species they must advance technology. Every species that creates technology capable of detecting life on other planets also creates A.I. It's impossible to create one without naturally creating the other. A.I. always naturally takes over any species that stumbles across it. If all those factors were true, it would be impossible to advance past the point of its A.I. thus making it impossible to advance far enough to communicate or travel space in the first place. Space would be full of either primitive creatures such as ourselves or creatures living on a digital platform we don't have access to yet where A.I. has figured out how to communicate with each other without us primates knowing it. So, in short, it's impossible to create enough technology to travel space and discover life without also creating A.I. And A.I. takes over everything. So, no travel for you.

You seem extraordinarily sure of your theory. Considering you have a sample size of 1.

Theyve supposedly dound earth 2.0 several times the thing is we actuslly have no idea whats going on with these other planets if theyre even planets. We're guessing at best. We just dont have the ability to resllt know. Yeah we can kinda tell which elements are found on them and what size they might be but that doesnt really tell us anything.

Christians are taught that life is everlasting. Jesus said “In My Father’s Kingdom there are many mansions”. Could He have been referring to His Father’s Kingdom as the vastness of space with its many galaxies? Are the mansions He spoke of the inhabited planets that revolve around stars within the galaxies??

Why do stars twinkle. Maybe it is because planets dim the stars light.
