The best way to find a super-Earth is to look for the large, brightly-coloured cape it will be sporting, probably with a large letter 'E' emblazoned on it.

You deserve several million subs. I love your channel. I love your content. I love your non-AI voice-over. I’m from Southern California originally, but I’ve travelled all over. You remind me of my genius friends from the American South. Southern Americans are quite often the butt of jokes. Some of the most intelligent, progressive and nicest folks I’ve ever met are from the South. Rock on, Brother. I love your stuff.

The satellite can only detect planets that pass their star in the plane of the satellite which is a tiny fraction of all the possible exo planets

@ZombieHandler 5 күн бұрын
The fermi paradox is simple. (LOL right...) It's a simple catch 22. In order for a species to detect other species they must advance technology. Every species that creates technology capable of detecting life on other planets also creates A.I. It's impossible to create one without naturally creating the other. A.I. always naturally takes over any species that stumbles across it. If all those factors were true, it would be impossible to advance past the point of its A.I. thus making it impossible to advance far enough to communicate or travel space in the first place. Space would be full of either primitive creatures such as ourselves or creatures living on a digital platform we don't have access to yet where A.I. has figured out how to communicate with each other without us primates knowing it. So, in short, it's impossible to create enough technology to travel space and discover life without also creating A.I. And A.I. takes over everything. So, no travel for you.
