I appreciate the thoughtful disclaimer in the beginning. As a Catholic, I personally believe a being who created the multiverse is WAAAAAAYYY more powerful than the squabbles we mortals cook up about his power/word, his ability to “withstand” such “heresy”... I don’t think comic book character interpretations are going to threaten him in any way.😊

That’s what he’s called in Earth-27 primarily but he does have other names including God. Was born Erebus and has been frequently referred to as Father (both upper and lowercase.) Other names include: Ardonai, Ahura Mazda, The All, Allah, Almighty, Aten, Baha, Bragi, Creator, Demiurge, Deus, Elohim, Heavenly Father, Monad, Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, Shangdi, Summum Bonum, Supreme Being, Trinity, Tawhid, Waheguru, and probably more that haven’t been revealed.

@@RoyW27 I'd make more sense for the presence to be energy. As energy can be dark too. Light can be created. While energy cannot. It just is. At least if you go by the definitions of physics. E=mc^2 . c ~ stands for the speed of light. Or just light. But when light goes through a medium, as opposed to empty space. Such as air. Or glass. The speed of the light decreases. And it gains mass. Effectively becoming a particle. The light becomes the air, or the glass. But they were there before the light. That's why E=mc^2 makes sense. Dense matter holds so much energy. That it's just dense light. But no longer as luminous as we know light to usually be. After all. Matter also emits "light" just not in the spectrum that out eyes perceive. Infrared. Microwaves. Lower than light in vibration. Gamma rays. Ultraviolet rays. Higher than light in vibration.
