All right, before you strike your pitchforks at me.... hear me out. I am a Batman fan myself, and I totally agree about the Tony Stark choice. I admit it. Bruce has an income of 7 billion dollars, Stark has an income of at least 10 billion. While Batman is more mysterious, gritty, tragic and gruesome and has a lot more deep moral thought in the comics, and Tony is more of an eccentric asshole (at least in the movies) ... the guy is a genius. He made at least 50 different version of his iron man suit, including one that fuses into his own bones, plus, he made a new element and he made his own arc reactor which should be the size of a house. And he did it in a cave. A cave!!!! 'Nuff said Edit. If we make a competition for best superhero, Batman obviously wins But we make a competition for best billionaire and GENIUS, Stark wins

Thank you so much. I am a Batman fan(boy?) but I know there are limits. I have read most of the New and Prime Earth comics of Batman (and Flash, my favorite), and some comics of other characters, which have shown me that Batman is only human after all. When I started out I was like those idiots who say that Batman can beat anyone with prep time (Absolutely not, btw), but then I succumbed to the fact that, well, he can't. Captain America, Spider Man, Black Panther, and Iron Man are among the many that can beat Batman (The last two also being much, much richer). I just get so mad when fucking newbies to comics start saying that Batman can defeat anyone and start throwing The Dark Knight Returns, New 52 Batman vs Joker-fied Justice League, and that Agamemno Contingency stuff without actually bothering to read into them more.

Samuel James Thank you! And honestly, Bruce is a better all around genius. Stark's main focus is tech. Bruce has him beat in detective skills as well as fighting prowess. The problem is Bruce spends too much time as Batman and often leaves the day-to-day of Wayne Enterprises to Lucius Fox. Stark is always the end-all of Stark Industries. Pepper may be CEO, but he always has the final say on big deals.

Monem Al-Semien umm .. to be fair, Batman CAN beat anyone with enough prep time. Take a look at Tower of Babel or the film Justice League Doom .... but even Batman has his limits. He even has plans to take down Superman if he ever goes evil, but Superman is too powerful that you cannot beat him. You are literally making plans to take down a god. A fucking god!!! And I dont know much if Batman can have plans to beat any Marvel heroes. Stark has his suit. Take that out of the equation and he is instantly vulnerable (unless he already has one fused in his bones, cause Batman is fucked). Wolverine ... good luck. You cant kill him, unless you drown him in liquid adamantium (spoilers!!) Spiderman ... his spider sense can be used against him (it has also its limits) and i think ethyl chloride is his kryptonite. But Batman cannot beat him ... he is quick for Bruce So, in a way Batman CAN beat anyone with the right equipment, but not everyone can be subdued for too long because their powers eventually come back. And yeah, I fucking HATE it when someone says 'because he's Batman' without any logic and reasoning or heck, even common sense. It has become so rare to find these days.

I say T'Challa's the No. 1 wealthiest comic book character of them all, at least in the Marvel universe anyway. The Wakandan vibranium mound alone probably puts him in Mansa Musa-level territory, maybe even higher than that (and that's not taking into account all the flora and fauna that evolved in unique ways around the thing over an extended period of time due to the mutagenic radiation it constantly emits). It's just a shame Stark hasn't already tried to stake a claim on the other only known vibranium deposit in that part of Antarctica known as the Savage Land or he'd truly be No. 1 for sure.
