Musicians like Freddie Mercury of Queen, Johnny Cash, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson, George Ezra, Alicia Keys, Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson and the Righteous Brothers just to name a few. If you need more I can continue going. But hopefully you got the point. People like Snoop Dogg, Beyonce and especially Taylor Swift are not great musicians in the slightest. But what you're not understanding is that the difference is people like Beyonce and Snoop Dogg hire writers to write songs and produce beats for them. For instance, let's take Beyonce's album "Renaissance". You would think maybe 10 writers? No maybe 24 writers? Hell nope, 104 songwriters to make that album. And the countless amount of times that she's claimed that she wrote songs, when in fact she didn't. She tries to list herself as a co-writer because she's sitting in the room listening. I'm not even going to start on Taylor Swift. That's just a train wreck of its own. But yes, there are many other far more influential artists out there that have been far more pivotal in shaping music, than the three that were listed in the Short. That's all I was trying to say. They could have picked way better representations, than the three they picked.
