@@deyisacherry Yeah. We can only guess before Lunar returned that maybe Earth had watched the Sun and Moon show to see what the bastard done, but clearly it hasn’t sunk in. Maybe if she was projected into those memories as the one receiving the abuse and torture then she could understand completely. Yet it would be so cruel to traumatize Earth for her to understand the level of damage dealt to her brothers. Also she needs to understand that Lunar at least learned from Monty to just push the trauma away and not face it, just keep living on. It was completely accidental that Lunar learned that coping mechanism. So it’s most likely why getting through Lunar’s walls is so hard to do. I don’t know how she could help Lunar to stop using that coping mechanism.

It's sad to say that his attempts to reconcile Lunar and Earth didn't help... but altleast he tried to help them. The reason why it went bad in my opinion is because they don't have the best mental state right now. Lunar is depressed over the fact he killed someone, and that Gemini, his romantic crush is angry at him at the moment. Lunar feels like he is a monster for killing someone, he locked himself away in his house in isolation. He knows that Astral bodies might come and kill him if Gemini fails convincing them, which of course would make him even more depressed than before. Earth, on other hand feels like she is a failure for not being able to prevent this from happening in first place. She is scared of Lunar because he killed somebody infront of her. And Creator, the person she considered to be her father, dropped his "nice facade" on her for the first time and threated her and her family infront of her. Which didnt make Earth's mental state any better too.

So, i feel like it would worked better if more time passed away, because they both still didnt get over what happened. Now don't get me wrong, i don't think that they will ever completly get over it. Unfortunately, you can never fully move on from traumatic event that happened, even if many time passed. What i think both Lunar and Earth need right now is to have some time for themselfes, so they would try to process what happened. And i feel like they need to vent to someone about their feelings, like Monty or Solar. And try some therapeutic activities. So my point is that they should spend some time separately, and then try to make up.

@@Ijustexistfornoreason I agree with you. The closest I can get to this situation was when I was a teenager and had a fight with my mom. We did the whole screaming at each other. Then I stormed off to my bedroom at some point to escape. Not too long afterwards, my mom wanted to make up with me yet I was just so emotionally hurt I didn’t wanna make up as soon as my mom wanted to. So I managed to leave the house and run away for a few hours. As I was gone, I had gotten lost not knowing the town and cell phone service was so unstable. It was growing dark and my fear of the dark and being vulnerable to wild animals overwhelmed me. Soon enough, shorten the story I had to get a ride home because I was so lost and scared. I got home, my mom being the best, she called the police to help find me after I vanished. Seeing that and the fact I wasn’t even mad at her anymore, we had an emotional reuniting there. So I get it why characters especially Lunar need to run away to try to get a breather.

I managed to find something that makes it a bit better (if you like the villainy part): Jack Jack has his prerogatives and his order, yes, so he does what he’s told and can’t hurt the celestial family. However, he can hurt them on Lunar’s orders. Going with the rest of Jack’s abilities, and Lunar’s start power, I’d say that’d be a damn good villain arc

You can’t force healing before somebody is ready or willing. And it can’t happen while a crisis is still ongoing. Solar is very ‘find the solution and charge towards it’ which is why he set this up. But not always the best idea in emotional landmines like this. Geez, poor lunar. I get where Earth's coming from but i also think they are downplaying the fact that lunar was MURDERED by eclipse. His feelings are 10000 percent valid and anger is too tame in terms of how lunar feels. They both are in the wrong. Lunar obviously more so because he refused help from earth that was desperately needed. But the coping mechanism he developed isnt easy to get rid of. This is a deep episode

Davis', Reed's, and Kat's acting was so on point this episode 👌 I honestly agree with Earth that Eclipse didn't deserve to be killed like that, especially when you consider that, according to what she saw, he was screaming and writhing in pain for several seconds before he exploded. I saw a post on Tumblr pointing out how, in contrast, Lunar's death was instantaneous. I'm not saying Lunar had the "better" death, or that his trauma and feelings aren't valid, but it's wild how, in terms of the actual act of the killing itself, Eclipse gave him a quick and painless death by comparison. Of course, that's not counting how leading up to it, Eclipse forced him to stand in place for hours with a bomb in his head, threatening to kill him. So, while the death itself was physically painless, Lunar was still *mentally* tortured by his abuser beforehand. In contrast, Eclipse was *physically* tortured in those few moments before his death, all while Lunar laughed at his pain. That's not even getting into how this version of Eclipse isn't even the same one who killed Lunar in the first place... So, yeah, Eclipse might've had it coming, but that doesn't make what Lunar did okay. Idk, this whole situation is a mess. I just hope that Earth and Lunar can eventually reconcile and get the help they BOTH need

Screaming at Lunar to just go inside. This whole situation with him sitting out in the storm that is his literal emotions is exactly what Gemini, Earth, and Solar are trying to say. He's wallowing in himself, isolating himself. He wants to be happy, but won't go inside to his family. The people who love him are right there, but he won't go to them. What is keeping Lunar outside? Outside of his own life and locked in his emotions? For me, I think he's scared. He's lived in the 'storm' since he was created and doesn't know how to live any other way. He's afraid to try, afraid to fail. But happiness and coming into one's self isn't a one and done thing. Its a long, hard road we all walk all our lives. Lunar just has to move forward. Go inside, sit, and talk. And let himself breathe. Genuinely never understood the weather powers thing until now. It is such an incredible metaphor for someone stuck within their own emotional turmoil and trauma. I am so impressed with how this was handled and executed. But I really hope Lunar goes inside and takes his life back.

Yes, Solar is the best he's more an older brother than a cousin to the family. He's always there for his family when they need him. Plus, Solar helped Sun and Moon brought them home from Ruin Eclipse's dimension and Solar rebuilt the whole daycare. He helped Lunar and fixed his voice box when it was broken. And Solar helped Moon get rid of evil Eclipse in his home dimension. What would they do without Solar? To be honest their life may be worst without him. He is very kind smart talented and amazing Solar's still their hero and a genius mechanic.

I think Earth may have to let go of the therapist mindset in regards to Lunar. i dont know what to feel about Lunar, but seeing Solar care for Earth was just adorable. I’m really scared for them all, not just Lunar and Earth but everyone! Sun, Moon, Solar, all of em. Sun is probably drinking cause it might be a trauma response, Lunar is blowing up cause of everything going around him, Earth is ignoring it to try and forget about it, but trauma doesn’t just disappear. it stays no matter what, you just have to realise that it doesn’t matter unless there is a reaction that causes a giant negative response that effects everyone. Lunar is hurt and so it everyone else, bit Lunar is not the main target, it’s targeting everyone.

lunar probably has some sort of depressive disorder. speaking from experience, lunar definitely wants help, but is too scared to or doesn’t know how to reach out and accept the help. plus he might also want to avoid feeling like a burden. i know the feeling all too well, depression causes so much pain that sometimes simply talking about it brings more pain so the easiest solution is to simply ignore it, despite that only causing more harm. it’s such a draining thing to live with that sometimes wallowing in sadness and just hoping for it to all go away is the only thing that can be done with such little amount of mental strength and energy that’s left. lunar does need to talk about it or get a diagnosis so he can organize out all the issues he experiences so he can understand his feelings before he tries to solve them.

I feel like this whole story beat is just some huge punishment to Lunar for not being able to instantly cope and recover from his death and the trauma Eclipse put him through, and that's deeply frustrating for me. And yet, instead of hearing about more of Lunar's trauma, we just keep hearing and hearing about how *Earth* is feeling, over and over. She's allowed to have feelings, but four times now, we've heard that exact spiel of, "I'm scared of him, he traumatized me, I feel like a failure," whereas we only should have heard it *once*, during this conversation so it wouldn't just be Earth repeating herself or the third and then *fourth* time. Also, the first time Lunar's body was built in Monty's space station after Killcode first manifested, he didn't get star powers then. What exactly about the time after his death was different? /genq I'm glad that Solar could stand as an unbiased mediator. And then a comfort to both characters at the end.

Lunar became way too relatleable to me, I barely cry but this video sent me to the verge of tears... the part where he was just sitting in the rain not caring how it could affect his health despite being warned just hit me way too hard and made me relive a moment I won't share online... I need some time to get myself together after this... Edit: After writing this I actually broke down sobbing for the first time in two years. It didn't last long(a minute or two), but it hit so hard... I barely cry, my body physically doesn't let my tears form, so on the rare occasion I do cry, it doesn't last long.
