Earth's rotation slowing down due to melting ice, scientists say

New research from California scientists says the Earth is actually slowing down as the polar ice caps melt. And that could lead to a time change. Scott Budman reports.

If the rotation of the earth was speeding up before they found out it was slowing down why didn't they change the clocks back then? Why wasn't something done about it? When we were all housebound during Covid the rate of CO2 decline was barely noticeable. That means the earth was producing CO2 on its own. And that's with all cars, trucks, trains etc stopped. Care to explain that to me Doctors' 🤔 🙄
