Research; Dubbed 2023 FW13, this asteroid is considered by experts to be a “quasi-moon” or “quasi-satellite.” The asteroid was given this classification because it orbits the sun in a similar time frame as the Earth does. However, it is only slightly influenced by our planet's gravitational pull. 3753 Cruithne is a Q-type, Aten asteroid in orbit around the Sun in 1:1 orbital resonance with Earth, making it a co-orbital object. It is an asteroid that, relative to Earth, orbits the Sun in a bean-shaped orbit that effectively describes a horseshoe, and that can change into a quasi-satellite orbit.

I just found out that the name is Kamo'oalewa i saw it on google Kamo'oalewa stood out for several reasons. First, it is classified as a quasi-satellite, meaning that it seems to orbit Earth but is really orbiting the Sun in an earth-like orbit. Second, Kamo'oalewa displays loyalty to Earth through its longevity.
