Hi, can't this be a closed loop, where all the piping is underground? Air would be sucked from the house, go through the underground loop, heat exchanged while going through it and then it would come back to the house, for the same purpose?

Hi, I build a house equipped with a ventilation unit that have heat recovery. Can I connect the suction of this unit to a Canadian well as you build? Summers are pretty the same in my area then in Lyon and I would like to coold down a bit the house using this well.

Hi Thanks for you experiment and it is really interesting Question : if the pipes are not available in some countries can we use other kinds or can we use a cement pipes ! Thanks

Hi. I think it should be avoided due to moisture.

No idea. The trick might be a too high humidity.

What is the average cost? How much can that vary? How much can that cost vary when installing to an older home? Where can I see the data on cost savings over time? What are the risks?

I am looking at constructing glass green house in UK and want it to be heated. Looks at many sites and found none. I know about geothermal heating from home building shows and magazine. Just wondering how could I use GT for small green house? would it be too expensive to install and run?

Hi. the tubes used here are quite expensive for a greenhouse. in winter the air comes at 12degrees so more an unfreezing system than a heating system as such.

Could look at a walpani design to help regulate the temps.

Hmmmm I just realized you could periodically flush the sloped air tubing with a disinfection water solution. Your slope allows the air tubing to drain away from the house.

No need to flush. You do not breath this air. It is only passing through the outside unit and back int the environment.

1. This seems to be for a home that needs outside air (like a passive home). Is this useful for regular homes too? 2. Where in France are you located? its much colder where i live

Why is 2 pipes needed?
@andrewstones2921
@andrewstones2921 4 жыл бұрын
2 pipes will have double the effect of one one pipe with next to no extra effort. The speed of airflow through the two pipes will only be half that of one pipe, the slower the air moves the better the heat transfer
@nrlog3682
@nrlog3682 4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. And the speed of air also creates noise, so it is better to divide it by2
