When I was a child in Manila, I loved this song! I was surprised to find out that Eartha Kitt was not a FIlipina! Her Tagalog accent was so superb and the wit of her delivery so engaging. Later in life I discovered how she dedicated her life and artistry to the cause of civil rights, which made her a hero to me. Not to mention my liking her other songs and even her role as Catwoman in the Sixties Batman TV series. Her light will be missed, but thank goodness for her work which lives on!!!!! Hindi ka makakalimutan kailan pa man! Nawa'y may langit para sa iyo, Eartha!
