i wish i had been fortunate enough to have seen eartha kitt perform this, but who knew there would one day be music videos back in 1953 or 54 when she did this song. absent the possibility of seeing a scratchy looking b/w video of her recording this song, this animated version is an acceptable substitute. the animated character does capture the essence of ms kitt. and, like others have commented, if eartha ain't singing it, i don't need to hear it. my thanks to whoever took the time to put this together, it is definitely well done.
