The beauty of a game can come from a number of factors. But I really think a major factor is the community. The people in this game are a TREASURE. You can enter a match facing someone like three belts higher than you and there's at least a 70-80% chance they would drop everything they're doing and try to teach you a move you surely don't know of because they WANT you to get better at the game. There are players that will happily use their time (that they can spend doing other shit they find important) to help others learn and improve. It's beautiful to see a community of people actually be.. well.. a community :D

You match with 6 people in a row doing normal stuff that you'd also be doing, maybe some just a little bit faster, and then the next time you pull that lever, somebody is catching every object you throw at them then proceeds to smash it all on your head. That's some boss-fight level moves all using the same magic system and moveset that you have. In most games and movies, they have to make the villains/bosses use different spells from the hero to make them seem more threatening. In this game, people are doing it the same way you are. Playing Rumble is comparable to practicing martial arts, even down to the belts. You start off by learning a couple techniques, slowly improving and building on yourself. When you start completely fresh, the elusive black belt seems like the goal to strive for, but as you progress will come to realize that it's really just the beginning. In the Korean martial art Taekwondo, which is what I have experience with, there are 10 black belts. All the colored belts are really just the preparation for the journey as a black belt. I haven't personally played Rumble (yet) but watching the video reminded me of when I first started training at the age of 7. Fantastic video!

@@Windette Like in the beginning you're trying to replicate the techniques. Then they become like second nature. And then after a lot of practice and hard work you can develop your own moves. Of course the progression in Rumble is a lot quicker overall, but it's still the same kind of journey.

The physical comedy allowed by the game increases the funniness of this video 100fold.

Back last year when I had a potato pc, I watched shoeless’s video and was inspired greatly. Unfortunately I only had a quest 2. Your video, while being extremely entertaining and funny, brought me back and reminded me of the game. I have now started my rumble journey.

Cinema Genius man. Absolute banger of a script, acting, and overall quality. The love for both the game and the community shows here with the amount of effort , planning, and skill it takes to create the content presented here. I was thoroughly entertained and smiling through the whole thing.

I hope the developers do something so they can keep developing this game

i feel like this game is somehow the start of an avatar based game, since it can probably also be done with at least fire and water. id love for there to be a game with like the full avatar bending set, and after having seen this it doesnt feel impossible.
