To answer the boulder thing… what happened is that you missed your headbutt. More specifically, each level of charge adds an additional larger impact after the previous. You’re attacking the boulder with a small and medium impact while the large impact that can actually break the boulder spawns on the other side. Step back a bit and you can break them no problem. Also the roly-poly/pill bugs can be killed, you just need to hit them when out of ball form to damage them. I did this with the hypnotizing flowers to immobilize them but something like the monkey rocket hat could probably work to damage them from a distance.

Would love a cover on another crabs treasure, just finished 100 percent (honestly really simple and fun) and the game is just so much fun, a interesting mix between really really serious and depressing and “haha look funny crab kill things” although it is a souls like so idk if it’s your pace, not too hard though, with the exclusion of a couple bosses, mainline ones aren’t too bad though (also I deeply recommend using the assist modes “special item” to deal with the “laser spider crabs” they are a pain and not worth the trouble, you will understand when you get there)
