Very delayed reaction, its likely that the attacker planned for this live stream to record part of their path of destruction. They crashed before getting to this intersection. A device was found at the next intersection that is regularly viewable from the other camera, apparently one of the devices was moved a block away by a bystander. It was possibly intended to go off as or after the attacker moved through this intersection. I've seen footage used from this view that shows a group of law enforcement running off up the street to respond to where the attack was terminated.

My guess is the camera caught something that KZbin live doesn’t allow. so my guess is that the camera won’t be back on for like a day or so maybe a week even

Maybe they think with Mardi Gras taking place it is a potential target for looneys, if they sit in a car and watch the live stream on a phone they can see where the police are and in what numbers. Just a thought but could be very wrong and it's just a technical hitch.
