I was thinking the same thing. As I've gotten older, I've been able to learn more about the conflicts around the world that are no doubt an inspiration for these games, especially places like Iran and the amount of BS the people have had to endure throughout the 20th century. It makes these kinds of games more thought provoking with that kind of context

I love how I’m so many games and movies people get buried under concrete slabs with rebar sticking out but never get crushed by it landing on their head, crushed by the weight, impaled by the rebar, break a bone etc. They’re always completely fine and able to just shove the slabs off themselves 😂

TheFatLazyasscat basically BF3's story is about this US Marine going "Rogue" over killing his own squad leader and getting in contact with a Russian Spetsnaz operative because they were finding intel about this CIA Agent that turned over and will nuke 3 major cities in Paris, Iran, and New York. The Marine gets interrogated and tells his flashback from Iran until he kills his own squad leader. Edit: Iran had a insurgency group in the game which is all men from Iran

Both can be added dynamically instead of staying on the screen for the entire session or even implemented as part of the character models in an immersive fashion like Dead Space.
