Man, you are such a nostalgic thing for me, personally, so i'm really glad you are back with videos, and also that you're doing well! I enjoy you speaking about things and the chill vibe you bring, no matter the topic! Weirdly when i heard about the Johnnys stuff the first thing that came to my mind was you and your son, cuz i remembered you saying he was scouted at some point, who knows, you guys might have dodged the bullet! The scary thing is i was not even surprised about all of it. Entertainment industries everywhere are full of creeps. Also love the fact that you're doing stuff with your artistic skills! Your works are so detailed they should be on display on stuff! You should put the website to a description!

Nice to see you making videos again. I know a little bit about how you feel with you being in one country whist your wife is in Japan. When I married my wife back in 2007, because of how UK immigration 'works', she had to go back to Japan one week later. I didn't see her for another three years & wasn't in Japan with her for a further two years.Luckily we have the internet and ways of communicating, I wonder how it was like in the 'pre telephone' age!

It's good to hear how you guys are doing. And super interested to hear how things are going with the family. My wife and son are going to Japan this summer for a year so my son can do pre-k there for a year. I guess we will see how it goes with school for them there. We are still considering a move back there as well eventually too. Just need better job security. The sentiment of life being simple is Japan I can agree with. At least from my standpoint. Would it still be simple if I moved back and bought a house to live that life style? I'm not sure. But it was simple in the past.

Wow that’s interesting the wife and son heading over huh? I understand though otherwise kanji becomes almost impossible later in life. Yeah job stability was becoming impossible in Japan. You’d be shocked how low the pay is now and how English jobs are dying out as it’s a luxury not many can afford anymore.

Hey Scott, happy to hear your family is safe. For the aircraft thing. On landing the pilots don't actually see the runway. This because they are sitting all the way in the front and pretty much have that big nose to deal with. So your view is there for obstructed to some degree. Now for the coastguard aircraft... Well it probably received a taxi order causing them to be in the direct path of a oncoming aircraft. So I'm betting this is a error from the tower mainly. Now please do note that I only seen 1 angle and that was mostly dark until they collided, so I can't really be sure of my words for what happened in this case. I however do know this is looking very seriously like a tower error to me. The tower released the ATC recordings, so that might help figure out what might have happened: kzbin.info/www/bejne/on2wm2R4o9KBfKM Now for the size of the aircraft types involved, the airbus A350 is very clearly a lot bigger then a Dash-8 Airbus A350 = 65m long De Havilland Canada DHC-8 = about 32 meters Please do note sub variants do have different measurements for all aircraft pretty much. From a actual pilot reviewing the information and explaining from what he can see: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZnSaJabYr2CpM0

The lights on the small Dash 8 would not be visible. Second the stop bar lights at the intersection of runways were broken at Haneda at the time. 3rd miss understanding to hold short ie Not to enter the runway. Basically a series of small errors cascaded. Tragic for the x5 volunteers going to help earthquake victims 😢 😔 🙏

I honestly think the plane accident happened with something with air traffic control. There were a lot of close call last year in an airport by me I found out, the one I remember hearing the recording the told one airplane to abort taking off cuz another plane was landing and they just missed colliding . Maybe a mixture of air traffic control miscommunication with the planes

Planes rely a lot on ATC to be their eyes on the runway especially at night where you are relying a lot on instruments so it was a slim chance the pilots could've seen it unless were aware of traffic on the ground. I am curious why you think America can be complicated vs Japan. Is it maybe just that the energy of a giant mass of people kind of lulls you into a certain way of life? It can be addicting to live in big cities with huge amounts of people. I never been to Japan but I always picture big cities to be very hectic but kind of like a ordered chaos.
@unrested
@unrested 6 ай бұрын
It’s the paperwork aspect of America. It has way more steps. Like buying a house was ultra complicated out here and having to find a notary in Japan to allow my wife to sign that she knew I was buying a house was a huge mess. On top of it insurance is a massive mess out here. In Japan if they say you’ll get something paid for by insurance they just pay for it they never argue the charges. Japan is very wysiwyg and no more no less. America is not and sometimes that is a benefit and sometimes a horrible shock. I suppose this may be very subjective depending on one’s lifestyle nonetheless thanks for explaining the airplane situation better!

@@unrested Maybe he should try animation, especially stop motion. I dabble in that. There is a program you get called Frames 6 that is easy to learn because it's designed for kids. It's made by a company called Tech for Learning. It only cost like $60 to download it and get lifetime ownership of the license, which freely transfers to any other computer you want to put it on. I did a little bit of animation on my channel, but not using that yet. I plan on using Frames 6 to do some real life scenes from the movie Brave Little Toaster.
