Got nothing to do with being black. Some of us just think we're better than others. Every race has it's social hierarchies. There are wealthy Nigerians who will look down on you because you're not in their level socially and financially. Cosby feels he's better because of his fame and status and he doesn't want any competition unless he can take credit for success of his rivals.

I dnt get it. Wat did Bill say to seem not black. Telling kids to pull their pants up. I think that young blacks think that everything that's negative is black. It's so sad that having low self esteem is a requirement for being black. That being dumb and unintelligent is black. When we gone let this slave mind go. You got ppl criticizing Bill that ain't never supported a black person in they life. Bill gave millions to help our ppl. You think earthquake done helped anybody. He didn't even have to comment. The man in jail. But he got to kiss the ass of his Jew handlers. That's all that's Abt. Bill set his sites on buying NBC and so they snatch the rug from under him. So no other black would try it. That's the real motive. They don't give a damn about them women. It's all about white supremacy. Weinstein ain't in jail. They let you get so far and then say that's it. You can't go any further. Bill strived to be more than a rich slave. He wanted to be an owner. Something all blacks should strive for. Why do we always miss the main point of it all? We so attracted to drama and dysfunction.

Any valid points he had were lost when he pointed to himself and his college degrees and all but said: it has to be done my way or no way. I credit him for other ways to measure success, but there will never be just one way. For what it’s worth, I was living in LA in the early 2000s when the first allegations came out. The reaction behind the scenes people in show business was “it’s about time; he’s been at this for awhile.” I don’t believe all the accusers, but unfortunately the pattern was there. The only thing I’m truly upset about is the fact that this black man is the ONLY one in jail while other people are walking free and will probably continue to do so.

Are you sick Bro? Screw you & EVERYONE who liked your comment. And screw Sinbad haha! (Sorry, but he was never funny.) Even if Sinbad was funny, it wouldn't matter. I grew up watching the Cosby show. I used to have ghost dad on VHS tape. Cosby used to be me & my dad's show that we would sit down and watch together. We loved him. I have good memories watching Bill Cosby. But for real, dude is a serial rapist. How can people ignore that? Just because Cosby was cool on TV don't mean shit. TV is entertainment, Fantasy Life, make believe. Decades of raping women is obscene. If Cosby ever raped one of your loved ones you would not feel the same way bro. You not the victim so you don't care about that. You only care about the image Cosby portrayed that turned out to be phony. How come 90% of all black comedians talk down on Cosby? Because Cosby was a self-righteous prick. Everybody hated him. @Ty-mh1lz5 жыл бұрын
Yan Enn don’t celebrate him if you chose not to, but there’s a difference in not celebrating him and publicly vilifying him to others. We’re black, we’re viewed collectively not individually. To some what others think doesn’t matter and I get that, but why give them the satisfaction (which is what they want) to even be able to say “there they go again?” We can have our own opinions and not broadcast it to others publicly. It denigrates our entire race when we do. We’re the only race they do this to and we’re the only ones that accept it. You don’t see other races coming for each other like we do. That’s all I’m saying.
@Ty-mh1lz5 жыл бұрын
Nik Ivory My comment was less about defending Bill Cosby and more about pointing out that there is no need to publicly vilify each other. That’s what they do to our people to keep us from advancing. Divide and conquer. You have a faction of Cosby supporters and a faction of his detractors, we’re stronger collectively than individually. Look at the joy someone like Vlad gets every time a black person on his show speaks bad about another black person. He loves it! Peep him out, he’s laughing and instigating the entire time. It’s innate in them and he does it subconsciously because it’s in his nature to be that way. Shit infuriates me when I see us fall for that trap because I know the game.

I believe Bill Cosby had envy for up and coming comics cause they were gaining notoriety without having to water down their material like he did. He put restrictions and limits on his material with the idea that he was doing "tasteful comedy" to satisfy a certain audience. Only to see comics after him do it their way and still appeal to that same audience. The nerve of him not giving fellow comics the respect they deserve just cause they weren't do it "his way"...
@tysmith21385 жыл бұрын
Cosby came up in a era were Black men were being seen as buffoons and wanted to changed that image and wanted up and coming comedians to carry themselves in a certain way. It was not a put down. He loved our people so much he gave millions to colleges and help send a lot of kids to school. Him producing a Different World tv show encouraged a lot of black youth to enroll in HBCU's and get a degree. Donations by Cosby over 100 millions dollars the most by any Black person in America. And this is the thanks he gets from some Black people. It sad and pathetic!

“They were laughing at us not with us” bill just didn’t want black people to help push the stereotypes in the media, he already had his money so he could think that way.... most black people coming up just want to get out the hood and survive and will do whatever works for them to make it even if it sacrifices the larger picture.... not look at shit today they use our own black people rappers, actors and the type of movie they portray us in, comedians that reiterate the same stereotypes in their stand ups that white people already think about us...., bill wasn’t wrong in his intentions of what he was trying to do he just went about it the wrong way.... obviously if you hear everyone that talks about bill is based off how he “treated them” when talking about his vision for things not his actual message..... he was trying to put us in better positions within the media, other blacks where just focused on getting in the game every man for themselves.... all these years and all these “black superstar actors” 2019 Kevin heart and Tyler perry are the only black people with their own studios and make their own films🤦🏽♂️ bill was trying to get these niggas to do that 30yrs ago but we was content with just getting a check from the white man instead of owning everything

You would have never had Bernie Ced Martin Tommy Davidson Jamie Foxx Chris Tucker Mike Epps none of these comedians if Bill had his way... Tough position to take
@thespadestable5 жыл бұрын
EmproDaBob - Audience taste eventually changed, and the comedians you mentioned got their come ups from the "Chitlin' Comedy" circuit, not mainstream a.k.a "White Comedy" circuit. Bernie and Chris Tucker got his come-up from Def Comedy Jam, something that did not exist back in the 60's, 70's, or even 80's. Tommy Davidson Jamie Foxx got theirs from In Living Color, and Chris and Mike Epps got theirs from 1990 movies. Now compare the jokes told on the Flip Wilson comedy show back in 1970 to the jokes told on In Living Color, and you'll see a major shift in public tastes and network television's allowances?

@@emprodabobclips - You sound like a damn woman! Bill Cosby gave them a warning/gave them advice from the perspective of a Black man who grew up poor during some of the worst times for Blacks post the Civil War, and had to assimilate into a culture that was driven by money and connections which was nighttime entertainment on the biggest scale. The advise was issued to Eddie Murphy and eventually became public during the 80's, , but you fast forward over the past three decades, look at all the foul mouthed/ edgy comedians who eventually went on to do child and family based television shows and movies, example Eddie Murphy with Daddy Daycare, Bernie Mac with The Bernie Mac Show, Richard Pryor with Pryor's Place, D.L. Hughley's show, Chris Rock's show, and on, and on. Dude like yourself were indoctrinate to think and respond like women, because you was soley raised by a woman. A man takes advice from an elder, filter out what he believes is bull, and retains what he believes might be useful, because one day you might have to face the advice you have been given. Here is your problem....YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!!

All black ppl feel this way about Bill it dates back to Richard Pryor, he never really cared for helping other blacks in a time where it was hard to get a start because he looked down on the type of comedy they did, he was more of the white America's definition of comedy whereas the others were comedy to what we could relate to

@nique1982205 жыл бұрын
Alan Tyson I think who the best host were would depend on who you ask. I never found Ricky Smiley funny even with the big glasses and lil Darrell act or when he he did the church lady. I do think Cedric is funny. I would like to hear his opinion. Since we are not them I can’t say they know what Russell Was doing because Russell was already successful doing big things by the time these guys were trying to come up so I can’t say they were or were not aware of his alleged actions. Richard Pryor did Model his comedy off of Bill at first that is true but Pryor decided it’s better to be your self and that is when he became successful, that is what all people who become great do. At first people mimic who they admire then find their own lane to be successful. Comedians stop liking Cosby after they met him and he would be an asshole to them. I would’ve been like fucc you too, he ain’t god. My last point is I don’t know if Cosby did this or not but he did admit to cheating so while he is out here preaching to us about having morals and that we make Black people look bad he didn’t practice his own philosophy. Also he said we shouldn’t curse in public and like earthquake said why is bill allowed to say” I don’t have a muthafuccin plane” in public now? Just because he’s mad? Anyway I respect your opinion. Peace
