Made in Thailand on the decal strip!👍 Good investment beats any string weed eater I have seen so it pays to be patient careful when first assembly! Nice machine😉

It still works fine and I did replace the belt. It starts well and I learned that If it's shut off and restarted you don't need to prime it.

The extensive instructions are mainly about precautions but very clear. I have old vinyl siding and it’s rough on the siding. On typical trimmers you can turn the trimmer head so it will not destroy the siding.

Don't store mower with any fuel in the tank keeps it better for next time for use! Always hit primer bulb 6-8 times before first pull start👍

That thing is a great Weedwhacker, but a pain in the living ass to get started after it hasn’t ran for a while.

If you jiggle the handle while tightening the nuts they will mesh much better and easier.

Where can I purchase this trimmer line? I have this trimmer! Thanks much !
@twagner6155 Жыл бұрын
You need trimmer line .155 and it doesn't need line exactly the same shape as the old line, as long as it's .155. Menards, Lowes, Walmart, Meijer, Amazon and Home Depot have it. Follow the instructions on the length.

So 15 min of video before starting...and then the actual demo is sped up to like 4x.

After it sat for the winter, how many primer pushes and pulls did it take for you to start this? I got rid of my 25 year old craftsman last year and replaced it with this one, as I could never start my Craftsman again the following spring. Now I’m having the same issue with this one. In my first year with it, it started up like a champ every single time. Now? Nope! All of my Stihl equipment always starts right up in the spring with no issues. I guess I have no luck with strong mowers. lol Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It's best for me to just dump the gas when the grass stops growing in the fall. Then buy new gas in the spring. I had to take the carb apart, clean it with carb cleaner and replace a hose this year. It has a strange gas filter that is a hose with slots in it. It's inside the hose, and cleaned it.

Another option is to use Sta-bil in your gas for the last couple times you run your equipment. The biggest problem with old gas in an engine is the formation of varnish and other sticky and hard deposits in the tank, lines and carb. Sta-bil reduces this a bunch. It's not perfect, but it helps a ton. I use it in my mower, tiller and car.

Anyone know how to change the oil in this? Can't get to where you drain the oil?!
@twagner61556 ай бұрын
Take the oil out the filler hole and turn it upside down. Clean it when you're done.

iv never looked into these viper motors before its why i would stick with brigs engines you no there is a huge after market parts for them i heard horror story's about small engine shop turning people away fixing any power equipment from homdpot like ryobi and power smart stuff you can't find parts for there lawn equipment or they refuse to work on them
@twagner61554 ай бұрын
True. I ran into that and go with Husqvarna and Stihl now for chainsaws especially.

This is lawn equipment - not a sports car. Time to pick a different model when you have to start adjusting the valves.
@twagner6155 Жыл бұрын
All the lawn mower engines I know of have solid lifters and require adjustment. I have a brand new Husqvarna 54" V twin Briggs 24 HP. It requires adjustment.
